Based on more than 3 decades of know-how in the area of materials handling technology, we have been analyzing critical points in conveyor systems and developing new cost-efficient solutions for improvement and optimization. With this innovation strategy we have been creating unique products like the AirScrape, DustScrape and SpeedScrape. Our new developments are economic and easy to assemble but allow a significant prevention of dust formation, spill and a more careful and efficient belt cleaning at critical sections along the conveyor route and transfer points.

AirScrape in a clinker Vessel discharger
Dust-, spillage- and maintenance-free conveyor belt skirting. Contact-free and thus frictionless by using a Venturi effect to prevent spillage. Companies whose daily operations include extraction, processing, crushing and screening of materials are familiar with the problems at the transfer points in conveying systems, such as nuisance dust generation, disruptive material spillage, costly belt wear, maintenance work that impedes operation and constant cleaning required. ScrapeTec from Kamp-Lintfort/ Germany with its specific products has been providing effective solutions to all these problems. ScrapeTec products as e.g. AirScrape, DustScrape and TailScrape are applied all over the world individually or in combination – serving as side skirtings or belt skirtings, for example and used by large and small companies. AirScrape: leak free without materials touching ScrapeTec Trading GmbH started with the AirScrape as its first product. The aim of company founder and developer Wilfried Dünnwald in developing this sealing system was to achieve maximum dust reduction at transfer points of bulk material handling

Sustainability in the cement industry thanks to AirScrape
Once the dust settles: Cement plants develop sustainable concepts with Scrapetec innovations for conveyor transfer points. Downtime, cleaning costs, maintenance, wear and tear of materials or health risks for employees - the cost factors relating to the transfer points of conveyor systems are not unknown, but usually go unnoticed. Whether in mining, in the production of gypsum or cement. As a result of the cooperation with ScrapeTec, cement plants in Germany have now increasingly discovered the special sustainable effect of the new conveyor skirting for chutes. Manufacturer ScrapeTec does a kind of persuasion with this innovation. In the first step, usually 1-2 transfer points on the customer’s system are equipped with the new non-contact sidesealing. Then comes the work on the fly. The AirScrape conveyor skirting is convincing at first glance, because of the clean working method without dust, spill and maintenance compared to conventionally equipped transfer points. And after 3 months at the latest, the investment has already paid for itself because of the eliminated cleaning and maintenance

DustScrape controls the dust at your transfer points
Simple but very effective dust control at your conveyor transfer points. With very little investment highly effective against dust formation. Again and again there is a lot of dust at the conveyor transfer points, even if you have an active dedusting system. The DustScrape works with an open calming zone, which means that the excess air can escape through the filter cloth and the material remains in the system. A small investment with a big impact. And the AirScrape ensures that the sides are permanently sealed, forcing excess air to escape through the filter cloth. Advantages * Prevents Health and Safety issues * Prevents dust emission to surrounding environment * Complies with most new dust prevention guides * Simple installation and easily retrofitted to existing conveyors * Can be custom build to any size conveyor * Durable and maintenance-, contact-, energyfree system * Available in various materials i.e. antistatic * Long lasting dust retention due to its self-cleaning and dust releasing properties * Effectively prevents material from being blown away * Product loss prevention * Compatible

ScrapeTec Trading at in-house exhibition of BEUMER Group
Scrape Tec presents sustainable solutions for all aspects of the transfer point to everyone from engineering, sales and service at the BEUMER Group. We at ScrapeTec in Kamp-Lintfort, were all delighted to have been invited by the BEUMER Group to present our products and solutions. On December 1st at BEUMER HQ in Beckum, globally recognized conveyor system manufacturer was able to set up its own booth, and present Scrape Tec’s sustainable solutions for all aspects of the transfer point to everyone from engineering, sales and service at the BEUMER Group. The inventor, and ScrapeTec founder Wilfried Dünnwald, head of sales Thorsten Koth and the technical employee Alexander Born were available the entire day for all questions relating to the products. The invitation to this presentation had a credible background: AirScrape, and its manufacturer, ScrapeTec became known through a Knauf Group project in Russia. The customer was familiar with the method and, more importantly, the result of the new AirScrape conveyor skirting from other Knauf plants. AirScrape is the world first “active” chute sealing device. They

For the first time the company ScrapeTec from Kamp-Lintfort is represented with its products at a trade fair in Chile. The Chilean partner of ScrapeTec will be presenting the AirScrape, the unique contactless side seal, which is continuously installed over the belt for chute sealing without touching it, at its booth at the "Expomin". Some also define the AirScrape as a conveyor belt seal or conveyor skirting. Regardless of how the area of application is described, the advantages are important: no wear and friction, no maintenance, no dust and no spillage - for years. The way the AirScrape works without contact and the TailScrape rear seal ensure that neither dust nor bulk material can escape through

AirScrape plus DustScrape in the gypsum and cement industry
From dust till none: Rich in ideas and low in dust How an innovative skirting performs extremely clean work at conveyor transfer points A typical problem in gypsum and cement production and a real cost factor: At most transfer points, material spillage and dust generation as well as the wear and tear of conventional sealing solutions cause additional work and long-term additional costs. A simple and effective innovation provide an uncomplicated remedy. With the contactless skirting AirScrape®, the developers at ScrapeTec offer a perfect solution that is convincing more and more customers in practice. The company Rump & Salzmann Gipswerk Uehrde GmbH & Co KG with its dolomite quarry in Uehrde has been one of these customers from the very beginning. Scenario: Transfer from rotor crusher to belt. Uwe Schridde, Operations Manager at Rump & Salzmann in Uehrde, describes the situation at the time as follows: "Especially at this transfer point, we had to struggle regularly with problems relating to dust and material loss. There were material spills in the ton range. The spilled material then had to be removed
