Based on more than 3 decades of know-how in the area of materials handling technology, we have been analyzing critical points in conveyor systems and developing new cost-efficient solutions for improvement and optimization. With this innovation strategy we have been creating unique products like the AirScrape, DustScrape and SpeedScrape. Our new developments are economic and easy to assemble but allow a significant prevention of dust formation, spill and a more careful and efficient belt cleaning at critical sections along the conveyor route and transfer points.
New products, new ideas, think out of the box.

AirScrape - Seal skirting for conveyor transfer points
DustScrape - First settling area which works with an open system, with a filter cloth. High pressure air can lead, material stays in.
TailScrape - First Tailskirting which works contact free to the belt. And is a perfect fit together with the AirScrape.
PrimeTracker - New tracking system PrimeTracker works totally different. 360 degrees flexibility and 100% contact to the belt. No friction, no wear, no misalignment

The PrimeTracker: A Revolution in Conveyor Belt Technology
The PrimeTracker: A Revolution in Conveyor Belt Technology
It often happens that the belt runs off-center, which can lead to significant damage. This is where the PrimeTracker from ScrapeTec comes into play—an innovative solution that ensures conveyor belts always remain optimally aligned. Unlike traditional trackers that push or pull the belt back to the center through friction, the PrimeTracker operates entirely frictionlessly, offering an extremely long service life. How the PrimeTracker Works Traditional bottom belt trackers use mechanical resistance to guide the belt back to the center. However, this causes wear and requires regular maintenance. In contrast, ScrapeTec’s PrimeTracker controls the belt in an innovative way. Through intelligent design, it immediately responds to deviations and guides the belt back to the center without friction. This not only reduces wear but also significantly extends the lifespan of the entire system. Word-of-Mouth and the Success Story Since ScrapeTec does not have a large distribution

Sustainability in the Peruvian cement industry thanks to AirScrape
Sustainability in the Peruvian cement industry thanks to AirScrape
Peru – A cement plant in Arequipa has recently taken a significant step towards enhancing its environmental controls by installing the innovative conveyor belt skirting system AirScrape at six of its transfer points. More are on schedule. Downtime, cleaning costs, maintenance, wear and tear of materials or health risks for employees - the cost factors relating to the transfer points of conveyor systems are not unknown, but usually go unnoticed. Whether in mining, in the production of gypsum or cement. As a result of the cooperation with ScrapeTec, the cement plant in Peru have now increasingly discovered the special sustainable effect of the new contactless conveyor skirting AirScrape in combination with the DustScrape.

Dust control in mining means substantial cost savings
Dust control in mining means substantial cost savings
Specialists from BLT World and ScrapeTec work together to offer dependable solutions for specific problems at the transfer points of conveyor systems in many industries where dust and material spillage are concerns, including in mining and quarrying. The risk of explosions caused by dust emissions on conveyor belts is an ongoing problem that engineers around the world are trying to prevent. ScrapeTec experts developed a new dust control system about six years ago, that is proving to be highly effective — not only for preventing dust formation and material spill, but also to minimise the risk of explosion at critical sections along the conveyor route and transfer points and for more efficient belt- cleaning,” explains Torsten Koth, Sales and Distribution for ScrapeTec — specialists in the development of dust suppression systems for diverse industries. “ScrapeTec products — which are engineered in Germany to pristine quality and environmental standards

Positive response for Scrapetec at Exponor Chile Antofagasta 2024
The Exponor show in Chile, Antofagasta, 2024, proved to be a remarkable event with 1,100 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors. This year marked the second participation for Scrapetec alongside our partner Dank Consultores. Our booth attracted significant attention, particularly for our new patented dust control technology. The interest primarily came from mine specialists across various departments, including operators, health and safety, and environmental sectors. Major mining companies such as BHP, Codelco, Antofagasta Minerals, and Freeport-McMoRan showed a high interest in our dust solutions. Scrapetec’s existing references in Peru and Chile stood as a proof to our effective dust control capabilities. These references reinforced the confidence of potential clients in our ability to manage dust efficiently. The new patent contactless skirting system the AirScrape in combination with the DustScrape will make the change. With the positive response received at the show, we anticipate the initiation of new projects in Chile very soon. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Exponor 2024 a great success.

US- MSHA Silicat Rules and Scrapetec solutions How Scrapetec Can Enhance Compliance and Worker Safety
US- MSHA Silicat Rules and Scrapetec solutions
How Scrapetec Can Enhance Compliance and Worker Safety Introduction In the mining industry, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount to protect workers from potential hazards. One such regulation that has garnered significant attention is the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Silicat Rule. This rule aims to mitigate the health risks associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica, a common hazard in mining operations. In this article, we will explore the key provisions of the MSHA Silicat Rule and discuss how Scrapetec’s innovative solutions can assist mining operators in achieving compliance and enhancing worker safety. The final rule will take effect on June 17, 2024. Understanding the MSHA Silicat Rule The MSHA Silicat Rule establishes permissible exposure limits (PELs) for respirable crystalline silica to reduce miners’ exposure to harmful levels of silica dust. It requires mining operators to implement engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection

DustAvenger in the mines
DustAvenger in the mines
In the dusty world of industrial mines, workers battled daily against a brutal and visible enemy: dust. It was everywhere, on machines, in the air, and on their skin. It made work not just unpleasant, but dangerous, as dust can lead to serious health issues. Then, one day, a team of heroes known as the DustAvenger arrived at the mine. They brought with them a mysterious weapon, the AirScrape – a contactless side seal from Scrapetec. With their help, they installed the AirScrape along the conveyor belts. Suddenly, as if by magic, the dust began to disappear. The air cleared, machines ran smoother, and the workers’ faces brightened. The DustAvenger had managed to control the dust sustainably. They were hailed as heroes who not only improved working conditions but also protected the workers’ health and well-being. And so, the AirScrape became a legend in the mines, a symbol of innovation and safety. And if you walk the corridors of the mine today, you’ll
