New partner in Kazakhstan | ST-ScrapeTec
The AirScrape, the innovative contactless conveyor skirting, is gradually conquering the world. Now also Kazakhstan. Here the story. New partner in Kazakhstan
Coop in Kazakhstan: ScrapeTec conquers new mining market with partner Flow Energy.
After a few projects in Eastern Europe, ScrapeTec has now arrived in Kazakhstan with its flagship product AirScrape. With an extensive order, the new partner Flow Energy marks the beginning of a new episode in the success story.
Workflow with a future: ScrapeTec and Flow Energy
Kazakhstan (in the local language: Қазақстан) is considered the ninth largest country in the world and is geographically located in Eurasia. The supplier Flow Energy has its headquarters here and looks after a large number of customers with 3 branches in the country. In addition to its expertise in pumping liquids, Flow Energy also sells a variety of pumping solutions. Kazakhstan has a large number of important raw materials such as uranium, iron ore, copper, coal, cobalt, zinc and much more. Flow Energy represents leading brands worldwide and also provides mining companies with corresponding solutions. In October 2022 they got to know each other at the bauma and in January 2023 the order came from Kazakhstan to ScrapeTec in Kamp-Lintfort. Specific solutions were ordered for everything to do with the chute at the transfer point. A typical ScrapeTec dust system with ScrapeTec side seal, TailScrape rear seal and SureSupport stabilization. “Once again we were surprised by the order. Because the preliminary contact at the bauma was, as is usually the case at the trade fair, non-binding. A total package has now been specifically ordered. However, in our opinion, the DustScrape would round off this solution in order to eliminate the dust with its filter cloth behind the chute. But maybe that will still happen if we continue to work with Flow Energy,” says Thorsten Koth, who is responsible for sales at ScrapeTec. ScrapeTec sees good potential for the future due to mining in Kazakhstan and the recognizable interest in ScrapeTec solutions. For Thorsten Koth, this new contact also confirms the strong commitment at the leading trade fairs last year. “We were represented at many important trade fairs for mining and materials handling technology, where trade visitors came from all over the world. And there was great interest in our developments. At some trade fairs we had over 200 contacts that had to be processed. A big task for us as a relatively small company.”
That is why ScrapeTec wants to strengthen its staff and also change its location in order to be able to better meet the increasing global demand. Before Kazakhstan, South America has also developed dynamically as a market for the company. And in Australia they are now also active in the cement industry with their partner Kinder. Not to forget: Israel was also added as a market in 2022.
