New partner in Kazakhstan | ST-ScrapeTec

The AirScrape, the innovative contactless conveyor skirting, is gradually conquering the world. Now also Kazakhstan. Here the story. New partner in Kazakhstan
Coop in Kazakhstan: ScrapeTec conquers new mining market with partner Flow Energy.

After a few projects in Eastern Europe, ScrapeTec has now arrived in Kazakhstan with its flagship product AirScrape. With an extensive order, the new partner Flow Energy marks the beginning of a new episode in the success story.

Workflow with a future: ScrapeTec and Flow Energy

Kazakhstan (in the local language: Қазақстан) is considered the ninth largest country in the world and is geographically located in Eurasia. The supplier Flow Energy has its headquarters here and looks after a large number of customers with 3 branches in the country. In addition to its expertise in pumping liquids, Flow Energy also sells a variety of pumping solutions. Kazakhstan has a large number of important raw materials such as uranium, iron ore, copper, coal, cobalt, zinc and much more. Flow Energy represents leading brands worldwide and also provides mining companies with corresponding solutions. In October 2022 they got to know each other at the bauma and in January 2023 the order came from Kazakhstan to ScrapeTec in Kamp-Lintfort. Specific solutions were ordered for everything to do with the chute at the transfer point. A typical ScrapeTec dust system with ScrapeTec side seal, TailScrape rear seal and SureSupport stabilization. “Once again we were surprised by the order. Because the preliminary contact at the bauma was, as is usually the case at the trade fair, non-binding. A total package has now been specifically ordered. However, in our opinion, the DustScrape would round off this solution in order to eliminate the dust with its filter cloth behind the chute. But maybe that will still happen if we continue to work with Flow Energy,” says Thorsten Koth, who is responsible for sales at ScrapeTec. ScrapeTec sees good potential for the future due to mining in Kazakhstan and the recognizable interest in ScrapeTec solutions. For Thorsten Koth, this new contact also confirms the strong commitment at the leading trade fairs last year. “We were represented at many important trade fairs for mining and materials handling technology, where trade visitors came from all over the world. And there was great interest in our developments. At some trade fairs we had over 200 contacts that had to be processed. A big task for us as a relatively small company.”
That is why ScrapeTec wants to strengthen its staff and also change its location in order to be able to better meet the increasing global demand. Before Kazakhstan, South America has also developed dynamically as a market for the company. And in Australia they are now also active in the cement industry with their partner Kinder. Not to forget: Israel was also added as a market in 2022.

New projects in Australia for ScrapeTec Trading GmbH
The AirScrape from ScrapeTec is used worldwide for dust protection. Also for new projects in the cement industry in Australia. Here’s the story. Growing up Down Under: ScrapeTec with partner Kinder on course for success in the cement industry. In 2017, the AirScrape was presented for the first time at the leading trade fair AIMEX in Australia. In the meantime, many mining companies Down Under have been won over by the innovative side seal for handovers. Also in the cement industry. The Kinder Australia Pty Ltd. is known to be a leading provider of planning and equipment for conveyor systems in the Pacific region. There, the family business looks after a large number of customers from a wide variety of industries. The innovative conveyor skirting developed by ScrapeTec has been an integral part of the product range of partner Kinder in Australia since 2021. More and more customers are opting for the dust protection solution that eliminates dust and thus spillage at the transfer points of the conveyor systems. The AirScrape has also been able to convince in the cement industry. In a previous article we reported

New Concept for Preventive Maintenance of Belt Conveyors
The company, which specialises in optimising belt conveyor systems and is known for its contactless AirScrape skirting for conveyor transfer points. i In theory, belt conveyors in the mining and quarrying industry are ideal “candidates” for implementing concepts of operating condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The belts run continuously, the environmental conditions are unfavourable (dust, humidity, day/night temperature changes etc.). There are typical irregularities (skewing, dropping) and also characteristic damage patterns (uneven wear, belt cracks etc.). And the need for continuous condition monitoring is also given – after all, in most cases there is no alternative or redundant system that can quickly take over the task of material transport in the event of a belt stop. Desire: practical operating condition monitoring Nevertheless, the solutions for condition monitoring that have been available on the market up to now are, strictly speaking, only partial solutions. The classic is an electromechanical belt-alignment switch with a two-stage signal. If the belt runs off-centre in a defined

New at bauma: ScrapeTec Conveyor belts with monitoring system
A conveyor belt tracker with an integrated predictive monitoring system. At the same time, the misalignment of the conveyor belt is continuously monitored and automatically corrected. Everything OK. at the conveyor belt? In the future, the user will be able to answer this question simply and comprehensively without having to inspect the conveyor system on site. This is made possible by a belt conveyor tracker with integrated sensors, which ScrapeTec - a specialist in optimizing bulk material conveyor systems - developed and presented for the first time at bauma. Basis: The conveyor belt tracker for detecting belt misalignment The basis of the system is the ”PrimeTracker” belt tracker, which detects and automatically compensates for belt misalignment (image 1). Even slight misalignment is immediately recognized due to the non-uniform forces that then act on the roller. The cylinder body then pivots automatically in such a way that the belt is guided back to the centre. This works equally with minor and severe misalignment. In contrast to similar systems, the tracker can move completely freely in a 360 degrees radius during operation and
