ScrapeTec with new product at the bauma 2022 in Munich

ScrapeTec presented its innovative dust protection solutions for conveyor technology and the world’s first E-PrimeTracker.
The whole world wants to know: ScrapeTec with a new product at bauma 2022

The world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment has invited for the 33rd time. And the worldwide professional world came. Also to the booth of ScrapeTec GmbH. The interest in dust protection solutions was high, also in the new E-PrimeTracker.

After the success at the POWTECH in Nuremberg in September with over 150 contacts and numerous inquiries, the bauma in Munich followed. For seven days, numerous visitors from the professional world from all over the world were at the ScrapeTec booth, which is part of a joint booth of the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Here 10 companies presented the mining competence under the national flag. The inflow at ScrapeTec was also the result of the great response to the LinkedIn activities of the Kamp-Lintfort dust protection specialist for conveyor systems. Especially the focus on mining attracted many interested people. As always, the focus was on the lead product, by ScrapeTec. The non-contact side seal for transfer points on conveyor systems is now in use worldwide and is enjoying ever-increasing demand. This was also confirmed by the partner from Peru, who can count well-known mine operators such as Codelco from Chile among their customers. Interested parties from Saudi Arabia were also welcomed at ScrapeTec for the first time. The world premiere of the E-PrimeTracker aroused particular interest. The new E-PrimeTracker is a further development of the alignment PrimeTracker. Additional sensors record the status of the conveyor belt and its running characteristics and transmit the data wirelessly to monitoring systems. The interest of the trade visitors in such remote solutions was particularly high, since the trend is towards electronically controllable conveyor systems - without being directly exposed to the emissions from such a system. Developer and ScrapeTec owner Wilfried Dünnwald and his team were available for questions about all products. They were always presented on a ”focus conveyor”. And the fact that many questions were asked and the demand is high is shown by the 460 contacts that were made for ScrapeTec at bauma. Head of Sales Thorsten Koth is curious to see what developments will result from this large number of contacts.

E-PrimeTracker 4.0, swivel castors with built-in condition monitoring. Scrapetec presents the first intelligent conveyor belt tracker at the bauma 22 in Munich. “All inclusive”: swivel castors with built-in condition monitoring. Misalignment, cracks, uneven speed: There are various parameters that allow conclusions to be drawn about the “state of health” of a belt conveyor. A new belt conveyor roller allows these and other parameters to be recorded. Sensors are integrated into the roller, which collect and evaluate data on site and send it wireless to the user – an innovation for simplified “condition monitoring” in conveyor systems.

Strong interest in Innovations at trade shows
The Powtech in Nuremberg has once again confirmed how important trade fairs are, especially when you have innovative products. This year the trade fairs are concentrated alone in Germany and interest does not stop. First the Solids, then the Powtech and now the bauma in Munich. The demand and interest in our solutions is unbroken, our stand was always very well attended and the discussions were very interesting. The result is many new projects and confirmation that we are on the right track. ”Think out of the box” and bring added value to the customer. And this is what the AIrScrape the new conveyor skirting does, our side seal works without contact to the belt. No contact means no more friction, no wear and tear, no maintenance, no dust and no more spills. A customer from the very beginning asked for the AirScrape again this week. We thought it would be a replacement order after 6 years. No, the first installation still runs like the first day, no dust and no spills. They like to replace more and more conventional skirting with the AIrScrape, the investment is extremely worthwhile. And

Where to see the AirScrape this week?
Finally transport bulk goods dust-, spill- and maintenance-free. This week you can see ScrapeTec’s solutions against dust and spills at the Powtech in Nurnberg and at the Perumin in Arequipa/Peru. And best of all, they are maintenance-free solutions. And if you’re interested in the latest development, ask about the new E-PrimeTracker. The guide roller, which is now also equipped with a monitoring system, warns the operator of the belt conveyor in good time of problems that could lead to a unschedule breakdown. Everything is moving in the direction of Predictive Maintenance 4.0. Official launch is on the bauma 2022.

ScrapeTec at bauma 2022, World premiere for the E-PrimeTracker: predictive maintenance of conveyor belts, reducing maintenance and increasing service life At bauma, ScrapeTec Trading GmbH, a specialist in the optimization of bulk mate-rial conveyor systems, will be showing a system for the first time that will make the maintenance of belt conveyors much easier and significantly increase their availability and service life: the E-PrimeTracker. As great as the benefits of this system are, its structure is just as simple. The tried-and-tested PrimeTracker is installed on the existing belt system: a guide roller that detects belt misalignment and automatically corrects it. The developers at Scrapetec have integrated robust sensors into this roller, which record central and meaningful characteristic values - for example the belt position, the belt speed and the condition of the belt connection. This world premiere thus creates the prerequisite for continuously and comprehen-sively recognizing and documenting the ”health” of a belt conveyor in the sense of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance - with the
