Underrated TailScrape

The possibility to close a conveyor transfer point completely. with the new conveyor skirting TailScrape.

The problem with the conveyor belt transfer is known. Even if you get the sides and tail of a transfer point closed, the corners are still totally open. The corner where the side seal does not match the tail seal.

The combination of the new AirScrape seal skirting with the TailScrape is the perfect solution for your transfer points. The corners are completely closed and the advantage is that the TailScrape also works without contact to the belt, the seals no longer wear and do not need any maintenance.

Perfect conveyor skirting solution for your transfer points.

AirScrape, the new conveyor skirting for cement plants in Indonesia
The AirScrape is a non-contact concept, meaning no friction, no wear. Transfer points free of dust and spillage, without maintenance. After some mining companies, cement plants and ports had tested the AirScrape, the TailScrape and also the DustScrape for a trial at their conveyor transfers, they now wanted more of that. Non-contact concept The new chute seal impresses with its non-contact concept. Without contact and without friction, the AirScrape conveyor belt seal skirting does not wear out and can thus keep the transfer points free of dust and spillage, without maintenance. The benefits can be seen after just a few weeks, pleasing everyone responsible for the conveyor systems. AirScrape and TailScrape First, the transfer is equipped with the AirScrape and the TailScrape, and then, should dust still escape to the front, the calming zone is extended with the DustScrape. The DustScrape tunnel is completely equipped with a filter cloth and thus only allows the excess air to escape. The fine material remains in the calming zone or on the belt. Deliveries to Indonesia A simple and

AirScrape conveyor belt skirting, the first installation Case-Study.
Worldwide practical application experience and here the first installation of the first contact free conveyor belt skirting. Since installation nor friction, no wear, no maintenance, no dust, no spillage. Already in 2012, in response to a specific operator requirement, Wilfried Dünnwald, inventor of this technology, developed the prototype of the AirScrape. The conveyor belt skirting system worked perfectly from the first minute, is still reliably in use today and was ultimately a major factor in the founding of ScrapeTec Trading GmbH. The AirScrape systems installed on plants in various industries now protect about 1,000 belt transfers worldwide. Parallel to the interest in these units, the number of contractual partnerships is also growing. Trained specialists are on the road everywhere to ensure installation and service. Here is one selected example: Germany: The solution was perfectly convincing for the operators of a dolomite processing plant, who regularly had to deal with dust and material losses at the transfer from the rotor crusher to the belt. Material spills in the ton range and enormous dust generation were an annoying standard. In addition, there were

AirScrape solves the problem of harmful dust
The problem of harmful dust at the conveyor transfer points could be solved convincingly by using the AirScrape. More than 60 conveyor transfer points in that plant were equipped with the AirScrape Spain: A well-known manufacturer of demanding surfaces made of stony material has also chosen the AirScrape in search of a sustainable solution to minimize emissions at belt transfers. First, a transfer point in one of the plants was equipped for test purposes. The measurements during the first test run and in the later process showed a minimization of dust generation of more than 80 % compared to before. The overall advantages in terms of efficiency, occupational safety and protection were so convincing that more than 60 transfer points in the company’s plants were equipped with AirScrape conveyor skirt sealing system. In correlation to the dust reduction, the health-related downtimes of the workforce, previously exposed to massive dust development, were also reduced.

Non-stop clean innovation
Transfer points now spillage- and dust free With the innovative AirScrape seal skirting, spills and dust at transfer points in conveyor systems and belt damage are a thing of the past. In the minerals and mining industry, contamination of conveyor systems and dust generation during operation are a well-known problem. Conventional conveyor skirting at belt transfer points can help here, but even friction forces quickly wear them out; they lose their effect and also damage the belt of the conveyor during long-term use. This in turn increases the costs for maintenance or replacement. The AirScrape from ScrapeTec Trading Ltd. is quite different. It represents one of the rare innovations in this industrial sector, is virtually maintenance-free, increases the service life of conveyor belts and permanently saves cleaning efforts. Beyond the chute and conveyor belt, the AirScrape ensures more cleanliness. AirScrape. The operating principle is in the name If you see the AirScrape side seal in use, you can quickly

AirScrape controls dust and material a a Dolomit Plant
At mineral processing 01-02/2017 Conventional skirting is pressed against a conveyor belt so that dust and material stays in the middle of the belt when it reaches a belt transfer point. But after a certain time, wear at the skirting and belt can be so severe that material and dust can escape. The result is unnecessary spillage of material and forma- tion of dust. This used to be the case at Rump & Salzmann Gip- swerk Uehrde GmbH & Co. KG, which operates a dolomite quarry in Uehrde. Here, at the transfer from the rotary crusher to the belt conveyor, there were always big problems with dust and material losses. Several tonnes of material spillage had to be removed at this transfer point every three months. Repeated maintenance was required at the transfer point and the belt skirting. Finally, operations manager at Rump & Salzmann, Uwe Schridde, contacted ScrapeTec. Following an assessment of the situation on site, AirScrape was installed (Fig.). AirScrape works according to a completely new principle,
