Reliable all-rounder for level measurement in bulk solids The rotary paddle switches of the MOLOSroto series are the ideal solution for level monitoring in the areas of storage, processing and transportation. Fine powders of the pharmaceutical industry can be reliably measured as well as sand and coarse gravel for the building material industry or plastic granular or wood pellets. In order to match this extensive scope of tasks the MOLOSroto devices are provided in thirteen different basic versions. One of them is the MOLOSroto DF21 that is characterized by a wide range of applications. The MOLOSroto DF23 with reinforced blade shaft is even more robust than the DF21. RETSCH’s New Vibratory Disc Mill RS 200 No grinder can beat the speed of a Vibratory Disc Mill when it comes to preparing samples for spectral analyses. RETSCH have now redesigned their RS 200 model for even more convenient operation and handling of the grinding sets. An ergonomic carry handle facilitates carriage of the heavy grinding jar which is slid on a rail into the optimum position inside the mill. The new clamping device allows for safe clamping of the jar with less force, an additional sensor checks its correct position. RETSCH’s RS 200 with its powerful stabilized plane drive achieves grind sizes between 20 and 100 microns within seconds and with excellent reproducibility. Pinch valves for universal use in many applications The pinch valves of the QV-series are the ideal solution for the shutting off, distributing, and dosing of powdery and grained bulk goods; viscous, soiled, and aggressive liquids; gases and mixtures. Typical applications are pneumatic conveyors and fillings lines for silos and tanks in the food industry, chemical industry, environmental industry, and construction industry. Due to the straight and not reduced passage through the valve there are no jams and no reduction of the feed pressure. Long service life of hoses and easy change of these if needed are a matter of course. New record of high-quality and personal contacts during the POWTECH exhibition Our new fair presentation at the POWTECH, the world’s undisputed number one for powder, granule and bulk solids technologies, has an essential contribution to our exhibition success. Out of a variety of industries from glass, building materials and paper to pharmaceuticals, chemicals and food we have been able to gain a lot of new interested parties from all over the world. Of course, many actual customers visited us and used the opportunity to experience the new products of MOLLET in operation. "By selecting three focal themes, we are doing justice to the immense spectrum of ACHEMA, while spotlighting developments that will radically transform the process industry", explains Dr. Thomas Scheuring, CEO of DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH. Practically all areas of the process industry are affected by these focal themes. Process Analytical Technology (PAT) covers far more than "only" real-time measurement. PAT provides input for process optimisation and automation, without which the fundamental changes in process control, such as QBD (Quality by Design), would not be possible. Industrial Water Engineering is yet another topic at the top of the agenda worldwide. Whether it be zero
