The new ULT 400.1 product series ensures energy-efficient and quiet operation with high flexibility and modularity - removing a wide range of emissions The all-new ULT 400.1 is a system series of energy efficient, modular, and extremely low-noise extraction and filtration solutions from air technology vendor ULT. The product family includes various extraction systems for the removal of laser fume (LAS 400.1), soldering fume (LRA 400.1), odors, gases, and vapors (ACD 400.1), as well as dust and smoke (ASD 400.1). At least two specialized filter configurations are available for each area of application. The modularly designed devices can be used both mobile and stationary in a wide variety of manufacturing and machining processes. The specially developed – and currently unique in the world – filter inflow concept achieves a very high absorption capacity of the filter. Users can look forward to a long filter service life and therefore significant cost savings, as energy consumption as well as maintenance and spare parts costs are sustainably reduced. The 8th ULT Symposium will traditionally take place in Löbau on May 14/15, 2024. This year’s internationally acclaimed conference is entitled „Effektiv und nachhaltig produzieren mit intelligenter Lufttechnik“. Representatives from industry, research & development and scientific institutes will provide theoretical and practical information. Topics will include laser processing, additive manufacturing, battery cell production, energy efficiency as well as safety, environmental protection and occupational health and safety and their relation to the use of air technology solutions. Traditionally, the latest technologies, their possible application scenarios and effects on legislation and occupational health and safety are key aspects. An accompanying exhibition and extensive opportunities to exchange information and network round off this traditional event. At the trade fair LASER World of Photonics, ULT will present the LAS 260.1, a new extraction and filter system for laser fume and dust. The new solution provides considerable advantages for operators of laser systems, system intergrators and OEMs. The all-new LAS 260.1 can be flexibly adapted to changing processes and materials. Based on specially developed filter modules with a long service life, the system supports and stabilizes the laser process and significantly reduces the need for maintenance. The extraction system offers a very good price-performance ratio, ensures an increase in the performance of the laser due to the use of modern technologies, and works extremely quietly. The new filtration system guarantees safety for staff, machinery and products – both in terms of air purification in general and during filter element replacement, as contamination with pollutant residues is prevented. ULT delivers on promises and plants over 100 trees On April 3, 2023, ULT planted mora than 100 trees in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the Oberlausitz heath and pond landscape. This action resulted from a promise made at the 7th ULT Symposium in May 2022.

On April 3, 2023, ULT planted mora than 100 trees in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the Oberlausitz heath and pond landscape. This action resulted from a promise made at the 7th ULT Symposium in May 2022. The ULT Symposium in Löbau/Germany was designed as a climate-neutral event. An important part of that goal was the ULT’s commitment to plant a tree for each attendee at the event. Consequently, on April 3rd, a total of 120 silver firs were planted as seedlings. Alexander Jakschik and Dr. Stefan Jakschik, CEO of ULT AG, are happy about the campaign: ”As a company, we have set ourselves an internal goal to achieve climate neutrality in 2030. This tree planting is an important campaign for us, because we want to contribute to climate protection, and additionally want to send a message to other companies. Climate protection concerns us all, and manufacturing companies in particular must set an example.” The ”Upper Lusatian heath and pond landscape biosphere reserve” was chosen as the site for the tree planting, because this is where the Free State of Saxony’s forest conversion program for climate-stable forests is lived and implemented.
