Dinnissen Process Technology introduces new mixing innovation This innovation in mixing technology was born out of a very specific request from a customer of Dinnissen. This producer asked for a compact mixer for testing a very specific chemical process. For this purpose, Dinnissen designed and built a special Pegasus® R&D Mixer: a very small mixer that allows producers to quickly and efficiently experiment and test different product compositions using complex processing techniques. What producers can use R&D mixers for: * Testing many ways to improve products and processes: quickly, easily, cost-effectively, and extremely accurate and reliable. * Adding different ingredients and mixing small batches within a relatively short time. * Testing recipes and experimenting to find the best possible product composition. * Creating new products and innovations in a cost-effective way.

Greater precision and maximum hygiene When conveying bulk goods, there`s an ever increasing need for ‘greater precision’ and ‘maximum hygiene’. One of the most common techniques used to transport bulk goods pneumatically is using air or gas by means of either negative or positive pressure: known as dense phase conveying. Less product damage and lower air/gas consumption levels With dense phase conveying you transport a large quantity of product with relatively little air. This is done at lower speeds than with conventional conveying methods. The biggest advantage of dense phase conveying? Less product damage. There is also an energy advantage; you can bridge longer distances at lower air and gas consumption levels. Customization Every project is different and always requires customization. A few years ago Dinnissen Process Technology introduced their Thermidor-system: a multi-stage thermal treatment solution, as the most effective way to sterilize product while maintaining product homogeneity. It reduces the population of microbes by 99.999%. Not using acids and chemicals Today, most producers prefer this thermal treatment by steam injection over liquid treatments with acids and chemicals. The main reason for this is that chemical treatments leave traces of chemicals (e.g. chlorine with it specific smell) in the product. Additionally, these liquids can change the structure of the product and lead to segregation of the product.
