Couplings with limit switch of MOLLET Füllstandtechnik

Different hose coupling systems are equipped with „intelligence“! Whether a hose is connected to the coupling station or not, is important information for the PLC. In order to supply this information it is necessary to equip the hose couplings with intelligence. For the signal output during the filling process at silos and tanks or at coupling stations the MOLOSswitch coupling systems of MOLLET are equipped with limit switches. The coupling with internal thread has a built-in limit switch with metal housing. Explosion protection with MOLOSroto from MOLLET

MOLOSroto rotary paddles avoid explosions even in very dusty environments! Even it is difficult to imagine, working in such an environment is life threatening. Dust is able to explode! The reasons for that are the increased reactivity and the lower thermal conductivity due to the large specific surface area. For example a fire ball with more than 15 m in diameter arises, if only 1.5 kg of pulverised lignite is detonated by a spark. But what might dust mean?
