MOLOSroto DF257 is ideal as a full indicator, demand indicator, or empty indicator in hard-to-reach places where level measurement would otherwise not be possible. With its angled arm and suspended cable shaft with tension weight, this rotary paddle switch enables level measurement even at otherwise inaccessible measuring points. With a maximum arm length of 500 mm and a cable length of up to 5,000 mm, level monitoring is possible at any desired measuring point in the silo. What makes MOLOScode better than other coupling monitoring systems? There are coupling monitoring systems in which the reading distance between the RFID read head and the ID tag is 30 mm or greater. This can be advantageous for many RFID applications, but it is fatal for monitoring a coupling point. The RFID system still reports “coupling closed” even though it is already 20 mm or more open. This can have dramatic consequences for operating personnel, especially during cleaning processes with 85 °C hot detergent. Other systems have the ID tag attached to the hose with a chain. This is a complex system, as not only the hose must be connected with the fixed coupling but also the ID tag with the reader. This solution does not eliminate the risk of confusion, as the length of the chain means that the ID tag could also be connected to a neighboring read head. Ensuring an uninterrupted flow of bulk solids during pneumatic conveying The modified Camlock couplings in the MOLOScamlock series have been specially developed for the pneumatic conveying of bulk solids. The diameter of the coupling is precisely matched to the diameter of the conveying line. This means that there are no sharp edges in the passage. This prevents the formation of angel hair, especially when conveying plastic granulate. However, this new coupling offers even more advantages. The lever arm on the female coupling can be rotated freely, making it easy to position even with heavy hoses or at the coupling station. The flush-fitting sealing rings are suitable for foodstuffs, and the parts that come into contact with the bulk material are made of stainless steel.
