Top-product of the month – Coupling systems from MOLLET

MOLOSswitch, intelligent hose couplings for the control of connections

The online portal „Prozesstechnik“ introduces every month four interesting products and the readers select one of them as the Top-product of the month. In August MOLOSswitch, our intelligent coupling system, has won this election by a clear margin and consequently preserve the chance to get Top-product of the year 2016!

MOLOSswitch, the Top-product of the month, provide the PLC with the important information, whether a hose is connected to the coupling station or not. In order to supply this information it is necessary to equip the hose couplings with intelligence. For the signal output during the filling process at silos and tanks or at coupling stations the MOLOSswitch coupling systems of MOLLET are equipped with limit switches. The coupling with internal thread has a built-in limit switch with metal housing. These limit switches are available with mechanical contact, as an inductive proximity switch or for the use in potentially explosive atmospheres as an inductive proximity switch according NAMUR standards. All switches are offered with cable length alternatively 2 m, 5 m or 10 m and adjusted to couplings made of Aluminium, Brass or Stainless steel. To this belong all common coupling systems like Storz, KAMLOK or road tanker couplings. During the coupling of the counter coupling or hose coupling the limit switch will be actuated. Blank caps do not activate the limit switch.
