PHOS4green pilot plant now in Weimar Glatt Ingenieurtechnik using a containerized plant for heavy metal removal from sewage sludge ash as part of phosphorus recovery trials. Phosphorus is a plant nutrient that is essential for human nutrition. However, because natural deposits are limited, phosphorus recycling for sewage sludge will become mandatory from 2029.
