Therefor all Siwarex Controller can be used, according to specifications. With the development of easYcont, useful function for a stable and accurate operation were implemented, like manual or automatic test weight functions, belt influence and tare, belt slip and a lot more. Prefeeder, additional drives, vibrators and control loops can be implemented optionally.

New concept eliminates infeed hopper Automatic hopper scales are still the most common intake and production scales for cereals, flour and fertilizer. Especially for poor flowing products there are nearly no alternatives to measure the production rate or the consumption of raw material. The new CSE hopper scale offers a concept, that eliminates the disadvantage of a hopper scale by the use of two parallel weighing hoppers. A pneumatic controlled switch feeder guides the product ialternative into two weighing hoppers. After filling the hopper the net amount of material is added to the total flow rate. The discharge system ensures, that the hoppers are completely emptied. Due to pneumatic operatation the scale has a very low energy consumption.

Markus Rinderspacher, leader of the SPD in the Bavarian parliament, visited UWT on 20th December. During the visit he was particularly interested in business and employment policy. On the one hand he was positive impressed by the worldwide business relationships of UWT and on the other hand by the company"s philosophy to employ professionals over 50 years. During his conversation with the UWT leadership the SPD politician was confirmed that this strategy has proven in the past to be very valuable. The experiences which older people contribute to the company were and will always be a corporate benefit.

ISO 14001 certification and new building Designing, manufacturing and installing automatic lubrication systems is the essence of the business of TrustLube. Their lubrication systems enable to reduce the amount of lubricant needed. Environmental responsibility and sustainability are very important to TrustLube. In December 2010 the certification body Det Norske Veritas (DNV) concluded that TrustLube has implemented their environmental management system successfully. They received their certificate for ISO 14001:2004 on December 27th. With this certification they wish to show and guarantee their structural focus on the environment in their business operation. If heat losses in the carried medium must be prevented, a combination of hose and electric heating is the ideal solution. This combination is offered by the novel templine heated-hose system from Masterflex AG. The electric heating’s novel design yields significant savings in energy consumption. The templine heated-hose system is notable for having several heat conductors, arranged in a spiral round the medium-carrying hose and secured in stable textile braiding.
