Detectable Conveyor Buckets made from food approved magnetic detectable polypropylene

WIESE is doing a lot of research on new materials for the product touching conveyor buckets securing the conveyed goods.
Most of the pendulum bucket conveyors are delivered into the cosmetic, food or confectionary industry. For this reason product safety of the conveyed goods is one of the main issues besides easy cleaning. It is important to be able detecting possible particles being chipped of the buckets which could fall into the product. In former days mostly colours were used to solve this task.
WIESE has developed as the first and only company worldwide a polypropylene material which is magnetic and food approved also.
Six months lasting test runs at German food manufacturers showed a great success. For test reasons small particles, smaller then diameter 5mm, were placed inside the packages of the finished product. These packages were detected by the magnetic separator and were discarded. This ensures that no contaminated product ends up in the shelves of the supermarkets.
