The discharge of the filter dryer (or other process equipment) is carried out by the PTS Feeder which is installed on load cells. The system allows transferring and dosing powder accurately and directly into drums. All the dosing procedure is fully automatic. The powder is directly sucked out of a dryer and transferred online through a conical mill. Rotating Sample Reducer The sample reducer produces small but representative sample quantities of solids and suspensions and is combined with high-accuracy analytical measuring instruments. It is used in research, development and process monitoring laboratories. Rotating sample reducers combine three dividing methods in one unit and provide the best possible sample reducing available today. The sample is fed to a dividing cone that emulates the process of quartering and coning. The sample material on its surface is accelerated outwards by rotation and is divided through guide channels into up to 30 individual samples. The individual samples are collected in 250 ml and 500 ml glass screw-top bottles which can be easily and reliably secured by means of a quick-release clamp. The rotation and number of dividing channels enable variable dividing conditions to be achieved up to 3,000 dividing steps per minute. This means that each sample consists of a very large number of individual samples

(Z=6000). The stainless steel single point is fully compatible with the aluminium load cell model L6N and is suitable for platforms up to 400x400mm. The B6N has standard a 6-wire 1m cable but can be changed upon request. PTB has certified the B6N load cell and filed under Test report D09-10.10 and the OIML certificate is filed under number R60/2000-DE1-10.04.
