Authorized service partners cover now entire NAFTA zone and France Berlin, 31.07.2012: The annual international service training took place at LUM Berlin-Adlershof headquarters from 16-20 July. In parallel to the continuing education of the distributors in applications and sales, here the fundamentals are established for the fast and qualified technical on-site support around the world. The increasing use of dispersion and stability analysers in cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries comes along with an increasing integration of LUMiSizer and LUMiFuge in the quality assurance systems there. This involves required instrument qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), as precondition for their work under GMP guidelines. Successfully passing the training course now a staff member of the Mexican partner is authorized to perform LUM instrument qualifications on-site. Successful company foundation in India We are very proud that the UWT group has the following new member: UWT Level Control India Pvt. Ltd. The last months we founded a new subsidiary in New Delhi, India with the support of a consulting firm named Maier + Vidorno. This is the first market entry in one of the main industrial areas in India. We are sure we will expand in more regions in this promising country the next years. We are happy to welcome our new employees and colleagues Mr. Rahul Kumar Singh Rathore who started as Regional Sales Manager, and our Area Sales Manager, Mr. Roopesh Menon. New sales engineer in action since May We cordially welcome Kevin Walter to our team. Born in 1985 Kevin Walter is a new member of the UWT sales team since May this year. He likes to spend his leisure time in nature with biking and rock climbing. The certified engineer collected sales experience the last one and a half years at M-Net and will enrich the UWT-team as a sales engineer after intensive training. Kevin Walter will technically support the sales office and sales force, will take over the technical development of comprehensive projects (measurement, visualization, installation, commissioning) and will conduct technical trainings for employees and partners of UWT. He also will assist in customer meetings and product presentations and carry out the service and commissioning of the UWT units for our customers. We are pleased that from now on another competent partner for technical questions will be available for all employees, customers, distribution partners and subsidiaries of UWT.

A 3D-visualisation is the perfect solution to represent details, processes, operations and reactions within a filtering installation. The complex processes of a dust removal process using a bag filter are communicated in 3D-visualisation easily and clearly understandably. The functions and process steps of the dust removal are clearly shown in the 3D-visualisation. A bag filter of the series ProJet mega is shown.
