Miscanthus, wood chips, dust and powder Geroldinger sees the pelletization of biomass fuels as a waste of energy, therefore first flow experiments were carried out with the the biomass "miscanthus". The technological challenge of this product is the low bulk density of only 140kg/m³. Based on the laboratory results the silo and heating system of our plant was produced. The annual heat requirement of 1500 hours at full load by 150kW involves the heating of all operational buildings (warehouse and office areas) and the peak loads caused by the paint shop. The heating system consists of a standard industrial combustion boiler, a self-made 25,000 liters of hot water storage for providing the energy for the peak heat load, a housed intake pit (equipped with a dedusting unit) and four screw-conveyors (500mm diameter) to ensure a rapid take over of materials from suppliers. The filter company Infastaub has again received orders from Russia Nine BKF bulk loading systems made of stainless steel with integrated filters will be supplied to RusVinyl in Nizhny Novgorod. The filters will ensure a dust free loading of plastic granules from silos into railway wagons. Date of delivery will be this summer. In 2011 Infastaub has already delivered seven dust removal devices for volume flows from 6,000 to 24,000 m3/h to Nizhnetagilskij Metallurgicheskij combine (NTMK) in the region of Swerdlowsk. The filters are employed in the conditioning processes for coal and coke before the inlet to the blast furnaces. They are designed pressure shock resistant because of the danger of a dust explosion. Haver RPT The sample reducer HAVER RPT produces small but representative sample quantities of solids and suspensions and is combined with high-accuracy analytical measuring instruments. It is used in research, development and process monitoring laboratories. Rotating sample reducers combine three dividing methods in one unit and provide the best possible sample reducing available today. The sample is fed to a dividing cone that emulates the process of quartering and coning. The sample material on its surface is accelerated outwards by rotation and is divided through guide channels into up to 30 individual samples. The individual samples are collected in 250 ml and 500 ml glass screw-top bottles which can be easily and reliably secured by means of a quick-release clamp. The rotation and number of dividing channels enable variable dividing conditions to be achieved up to 3,000 dividing steps per minute. This order includes both, ALFRA dosing slide platform, The ALFRA Bulkweigher, frame for movable blenders and the PROMASst automation software. The process The ordered parts are intended for filling the hoppers. First, the exact composition of the various pet food grains of PCG is dosed by the ALFRA dosing slide platform. The exact composition goes through the platform to the movable ALFRA bulk weigher. Then the pet food goes to the blenders, where it will be mixed on moving and it will be loaded in the hopper. Then out of the hopper it will be packed in the packaging line. December 2011 PCG preferred the PROMASst automation software of KSE.
