The choice for economical coating In addition to the established coating system Bohle Film Coater BFC, the German engineering company L.B. Granulation in a new dimension The German engineering company L.B. Bohle developed an elegant solution for a completely smooth running process in traditional granulation equipment. The new Compact Unit features a high-shear mixer and fluid bed dryer side by side, complete with sieving step in between. It has a very compact design. Not only has the width been reduced, but also the installation height is very low. For example, due to the unique lifter for the filter unit inside the BFS fluid bed, an opening in the concrete ceiling for installation of equipment can be avoided. There is no need for a long pneumatic cylinder which would protrude beyond the process tower. Furthermore, the inlet plenum features a reduced overall height. Minimising harmful particles in the clean room Technical cleanliness is the latest quality feature in screw fastening assembly In miniaturised technology, the elimination of tiny particles while fastening screws during the assembly process is a new quality feature. If when a circuit board is being assembled, a microscopic piece of steel - invisible to the naked eye - escapes, a disaster is sure to happen. Bag filter for the kiln/raw mill gases and the clinker cooler excess air Ciment de Sibline is the third largest clinker and cement manufacturer in Lebanon. The plant has an annual production capacity of 12 thousand tons of cement and operates two dry process kilns. For energy saving and utilization of grate cooler waste gases for raw materials drying, the company decided to replace the existing two separate dedusting systems – a multicyclone on the cooler exit and an ESP for mill and preheater kiln gases - by a new common bag filter. Protection of silos from over-pressure during pneumatic filling The maintenance free pressure indicators of the MSD-range are used to protect silos and containers from to high pressure during the pneumatic filling process. As soon as the pressure reaches the switching point the sensor activates a signal. It is very easy to avoid the costly consequences of a material overload in silos or bins with this very reliable measuring device. Both the standard and the rotating clean-flow magnets will not include welded seams in the new design, which allows for a very smooth finish and excludes the formation of bacteria. The Ra values between 0.05 and 0.3 will ensure that even the finest iron dust will be removed from powders. The construction of the door was also changed. This door now includes a quick release between the extractor and magnets, as a result of which the former will always be pulled outwards as well. This will prevent the extractor from remaining in the product flow during magnetic cleaning and iron getting back into the product. Static earthing for type C Bigbags The Earth-Rite FIBC system monitors the resistance of Type C FIBC bags ensuring that the conductive elements of the bag are capable of dissipating static charges in compliance with Cenelec CLC/TR: 50404.
