In a two-month, highly intensive working process, the welding preparations were performed by Mr. Norbert Wolkerseder, doubravas welding specialists. For the test itself, a handful of specially trained professionals were retrained in addition. The welders had a one-week test to proof their skills. All candidates passed the exam with flying colors and were able to convince the examiner of their abilities. Thus doubrava industrial plants expanded its international operations to another country.

Ingeniously simple level controls for bulk solids with UWT rotating paddle switches PNP Electronics The new PNP electronics for the Rotonivo® 3000 and Rotonivo® 4000 ranges uses 3-wire electronics technology with a non-contact output, open collector, PNP. VAS convinces Dyckerhoff Following the successful startup in their cement plants Esch (LUX) and Göllheim (DE), Dyckerhoff AG, a company rich in tradition, has now commenced with the international rollout of Axians"s logistics solution VAS. The new system is currently being implemented on the basis of a template in a further cement plant in Germany, as well as at the plants in the Ukraine. In several workshops, the different requirements of the plant"s processes were analyzed and redefined. The template rollout is now being launched at all sites on the basis of these newly optimized and harmonized logistics processes. This is especially essential for the value flows between VAS and Dyckerhoff AG"s central SAP system. Since 2004, Dyckerhoff AG has belonged to the Italian Buzzi Unicem Group. Automation solution for the traffic route construction sector Axians is providing Eurovia, the leading European road construction group, with its Dispatch Automation System VAS. With a customised template, the asphalt specialist is optimising its logistics processes holistically, including company-specific procedures and seamless connection to its SAP system. In order to satisfy the requirements of the asphalt sector, Axians further developed their dispatch automation system with the know how of parent group VINCI Energies. All Eurovia processes concerning the flow of money and goods are deposited in a universal template that applies globally to all factories. Country- and sector-specifics can be quickly introduced and activated, thus securing the transboundary standardisation of the goods movement processes. Eurovia has already put VAS into operation at their site in Hoerdt, Alsace, and will roll out the solution in around 400 Eurovia factories in France by 2019, with support from Axians IAS (Industrial Application & Services).

Transporter moves 3 Bag Filling Stations onder 12 Silos The group AVT has recently delivered a 10T wheel transporter to a German customer. The transporter will move 3 Bag Filling Stations under 12 Silos. This transporter is again a nice example of a transport system which is completely designed and produced `in house`. The wheel transporter consists of a quality steel tubular frame realized in two parts for easy shipment and which includes a series of supporting plates for connecting the machinery on the top. The transporter features some nice 4 heavy duty swivel wheels (retractable during the bags filling phase), 4 compact traction wheels (2 mounted in X end 2 in Y direction for omnidirectional movements) with ‘AC’ drive motors and proportional speed via frequency inverters, radio control, telescopic electrical box (for easy accessibility) and removable pneumatic box, 4x end-stops and flash lights to each corner of the transporter.

The Dutch Agro-Industrial Group "Royal Cosun" is currently building a pilot plant for developing processes for getting the most out of their raw materials and by-products. Cosun Food Technology Centre (CFTC), has approached Lindor specifically for mixing and drying of their products after the processing of their by-products. For these products the mixing and even more importantly the drying, should be conducted in a controlled manner without any side effects. The bio refining process Cosun wants to extract as much as possible from the crops they use. In the pilot plant the crop will be completely taken apart in several stages for conversion into valuable and useful new products. All kinds of materials originating from the cells will be converted to products used in the food, animal feed and chemical industries. The remaining bio mass will be used to generate "green energy".
