Prefabricated installation for North Africa Being part of Katoen Natie, a world leader when it comes to port activities, logistics and semi-industrial services, has its advantages. Katoen Natie has over 4.8 million m² of warehouses located throughout 25 countries, worldwide. As a member of this international player, we’re able to use its facilities for the benefit of our projects. For example: A manufacturer asked us to engineer and build a blending line in a North-African country. The installation consists out of 4 main parts: dry material handling, CIP, kneading and bagging. Our know-how about how to treat the given product, combined with our experience in international projects, was decisive for awarding us this contract. The dry material handling level consists out of a bag discharging station, a mixer and a pneumatic conveying line equipped with a metal detection system. Connection Systems Flexiduct The British firm Connection Systems has appointed Acuradmin (Oud-Vossemeer-NL) as its Benelux distributor. Connection Systems is part of the Terriva Group and specialises in the development and production of new concepts and systems for flexible pipe-connectors. Connection System’s Flexiduct product line consists of a complete range of lightweight flexible silicone connectors to make the joining of similar or different sized pipes simple. The ends are moulded to replace the gasket used in standard quick couplings. For non-flanged pipes the Flexiduct can be attached using a standard band clamp. The ducts will compensate for reasonable levels of misalignment in all planes. The convolutions allow the joint to be made with minimum effort and absorbs vibrations. Due to their flexibility the ducts are ideal for feeding transportation systems, vibrating sieves and applications where quick connection/release of tubes is required. 2 types of Flexiducts are available:

Zoatec has been founded around a group of specialised and skilled engineers from the pasta and cream branche and fabricates process machines for the production of viscous products such as ketchup and mayonaise for the food industry, unguents for the pharmaceutical industry, creames for the cosmetic industry and toothpaste for the chemical industry. The synergy between Azo and Zoatec lies in the fact that during all these processes powders are mixed into the liquid process. From the Azo Nv site in Antwerp the distribution of Zoatec equipment is assured. Moreover, Azo represents the Amixon mixers exlusively, and during the fair, a sanitary mixer, proper for quick recipe exhange, will be exposed. DMN-WESTINGHOUSE have upgraded their PTD plug type diverter. The new PTD is of an improved, user friendly design, pressure shock resistant up to 10 bar (size 200 excluded) and suitable for pressures up to 3 bar g. Value engineering has resulted in improved specifications and a more competive price of the diverter, now available in 7 consecutive sizes from 50 to 200 mm pipe diameter. The design of the PTD plug type diverter conforms to all current legislation regarding safety in the workplace. Consequently there are no moving parts on the outside. The new PTD is of an improved, user friendly design, pressure shock resistant up to 10 bar (size 200 excluded) and suitable for pressures up to 3 bar g (standard static seals). The sizes 50-150 are optionally available for pressures up to 6 bar g (inflatable seals). The DMN-WESTINGHOUSE PTD plug type diverter has been specially designed to route powders and pellets with minimum degradation in pneumatic conveying systems.
