Skewered! Air Powered Kebab Skewer Air Motors in the Food Processing Industry
Skewered! Air Powered Kebab Skewer
Air Motors in the Food Processing Industry During food preparation using machines, hygiene is just as important as efficiency, therefore air motors are ideally suited for use within the food processing industry because of their adaptability to such moisture prone conditions. It’s the best kept secret of any barbeque: Who took all the time and effort to lovingly and carefully skewer each piece of food in place? Whose job is it in those popular restaurants where the guest expects high service and quality of presentation? In today`s market where increasing costs of production are a deciding factor in the survival of every business, optimal use of resources is the best recipe for profit. Automation and pre-processing can provide this. Not only fast, efficient machine processing of food must be achieved but also hygiene standards upheld. If the customer is to be more than just satisfied but also a big fan and even promoter of the business then the end product must be something special in itself.

High Sample Throughput with 100% Material Recovery
Retsch`s Ultra Centrifugal Mill ZM 200 The powerful and versatile ZM 200 combines maximum performance with ease of use. This rotor mill allows for extremely rapid size reduction of a vast range of materials which considerably increases the sample throughput in the sample prep laboratory. The grinding tools can be cleaned easily and quickly so that cross contamination due to frequently changing sample materials can be successfully avoided. Thanks to the patented cassette system, 100% sample recovery is guaranteed. The two-step size reduction process by shearing and impact forces allows for rapid and gentle grinding down to a fineness which usually ranges between 100 and 500 micrometers. Due to the wide selection of accessories which include different rotors, ring sieves and cassettes, the ZM 200 can be adapted to a great variety of size reduction tasks. In many industries – such as feed stuffs or powder coatings – the ZM 200 has become the standard in sample preparation. · Powerful drive with speed

Two- and Three-way valves made of PVDF or PE
Two- and Three-way valves
made of PVDF or PE Valves are used when transferring liquids or gases. The valves’ plastic material must not influence the substance being transported, particularly in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical manufacturing and the foodstuffs industry. The two- and three-way valves are therefore available in two materials: transparent PVDF/PTFE and red/white PE/PP. * PVDF: good chemical resistance, transparent, suited for foodstuffs * PE: for industrial use * Max. pressure resistance 1 bar, temperature range 0 – 40°C * Three different nozzles available * NEW: Better handling and optimized design. Breaking the mould in the construction of aircraft doors and emergency open
Breaking the mould in the construction of aircraft doors and emergency open
Competition and pressure to keep costs low are no strangers to modern aircraft manufacture, especially against the backdrop of the weak US dollar. Nevertheless safety and technical reliability are still top priority. Requirements for efficiency and environmental considerations for wide-bodied aircraft demand research and innovation from every conceivable field. A Bavarian scientific and industrial consortium is breaking the mould in the construction of aircraft doors and emergency opening systems. Weight minimisation is a particular challenge in the construction of jets. Aircraft doors are a critical factor in this weight balance. The safety-sensitive classified emergency opening systems are an area where highly specific weights and costs are demanded. This is where the ambitious research project PYROTAK comes in. It is a collaboration of research projects from Bavarian businesses and universities which is already a success. The participating businesses and universities
