This pre-separator was origanally designed to catch the sparks which are generated by cutting or weld steel, as with shotblasting, but due to its high efficiency it can also be used to decrease the dust load. In-Sight 1820 a must for high-speed handling and sorting equipment Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ - CGNX), the world`s leading supplier of machine vision systems and wafer readers to the semiconductor industry, today announced at SEMICON Japan the In-Sight 1820 vision-based wafer pre-aligner. Utilizing proprietary Cognex NotchMax alignment technology, the 1820 vision system provides precise non-contact measurement of wafer position and orientation that is faster and more accurate than comparably priced mechanical systems. The In-Sight 1820 determines wafer position and orientation in less than half a second while mechanical pre-aligners must typically spin wafers for several seconds. NotchMax, the newest member of Cognex industry-leading PatMax family of geometric pattern finding technologies, aligns wafers with a center position accuracy of +/- 15μm and an orientation accuracy of +/- 0.05 degrees. More accurate pre-alignment saves fine alignment steps inside a process tool to boost throughput.

The suction lance is integrated in a special venting tube, which is equipped with a manual valve and a sealing plug. After lowering the DCS on the drum. The venting tube is con-nected to the drum nozzle. Then the suction lance can be intro-duced in the drum and the liquid can be pumped out completely. `Onboard` - Load cells for heavy duty applications Due to the different bulk density of scaped iron and aluminium it was nessecary to control the filling process of 6 container. The system is used to prevent overfilling and to calculate the commercial value of the content of each container. If the container is filled with a preselectable value ( 10 t ) the filling process is stopped and the container is picked up by the scrap merchant company. Because of the shock loads during lifting and dumping the container, it was not possible to use conventionell load cells. The robust weighing frame was bolted on 4 heavy duty load cells type T 33. This load cells are developed for `onboard` weihing on trucks. They are extremly resistant against overload and side forces. With a height of only 70 mm the T33 load cell are rated for 30.000 kg.
