Safe liquid transfer - wherever I will! The battery-powered universal pump, AkkuPump from Bürkle, now with even simpler handling, is in-tended for applications in which small amounts of liquid are to be filled off. Safe, strength-saving, rapid and accurate dosage – even into small containers with narrow openings. It is quiet-running and the pumping capacity can be set steplessly from a few drops up to 10 liters per minute. Full concentration on the container means that liquids can be safely and comfortably filled off without any effort. The lightweight turns the scales at only 990 g which means that it is well-balanced and not top-heavy like conventional barrel pumps. The AkkuPump parts coming into contact with the medium are made from polypropylene and Hastelloy C, both of which are outstanding materials with a very good chemical resistance. This is why the Akku-Pump can be used with a wide range of liquids, in-cluding such aggressive media as acids, alkalis and cleansing agents without any problems. The

Collect samples instead of time-consuming cleaning - with the disposable samplers from Bürkle In many applications rapid and absolutely con-tamination-free sampling is essential. In such cases the disposable DispoSampler is the right tool for the job. The qualitatively correct cleaning of a sampler is very difficult, which means that it is very time-consuming and therefore expensive. The clean-ing procedure is normally also complicated, particularly with greasy, strongly adhesive or toxic substances. Schenck Process is breaking into new ground in applications for feeding very small volumes of bulk material. Its latest feed system, PureFeed® DP, is particularly well suited to continuous, gravimetric feeding of tiny volumes of powder with manual refills. The innovative technology deployed in the PureFeed® DP allows for high-accuracy feeding of small volumes from between 20 g/hr to 2 kg/hr using a speed-controlled, ceramic feed disc which rotates at the base of a cylindrical hopper and acts as the discharge mechanism. This disc separates the material supply from the outlet opening, avoids uncontrolled outflow and prevents the bulk material which is already contained within the feeder from compacting. The moving parts operate at low levels of interfering force. The pulsation-free feed principle and the wide adjustment range allow for precise, gravimetric feeding, especially of tiny volumes, without the discharge mechanism having to be replaced. This was the decision of the panel of jurors from Process magazine and its sister publication Schüttgut, who presented the Innovation Award for the first time at this event. 50 companies nominated their latest products for the award, five of which were chosen to receive the honour from the two trade journals for chemical and pharmaceutical engineering. The LMC-F-0050-1 is an opto-electronic level measuring module for industrial application like tank level measurement. The module operates on basis of non-contact comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation. The laser diode (cw operation) has a divergence of 0.6 mrad for measurement with pinpoint accuracy. The measured result is available on the RS 232 / RS 422 data interface. Optional also Profibus, Canopen, Ethernet or WLan Interface are available. A digital switching output (second as option), an analogue 4..20mA output and optional a Profibus output is also available. The sensor alignment can be easily achieved with the help of the red pilot laser.
