TBMA Expands Bulk Handling for Schneider Electric in Turkey
TBMA has successfully implemented a new bulk storage and pneumatic conveying system for silica powder at Schneider Electric’s Turkish facility, enhancing production capacity for energy management components. Expansion of silica powder processing capacity To support the manufacturing of electrical and electronic components, Schneider Electric required additional storage and automated transport of silicon dioxide (SiO2) to its mixing stations. TBMA provided a complete turnkey solution, integrating two 80 m3 silos with a high-pressure pneumatic conveying system capable of transporting 500 kg per hour over a distance of 50 meters. Advanced silo discharge and monitoring technology The installed stainless steel silos are equipped with specialized discharge systems and radar-controlled level measurement to ensure a consistent material flow. For environmental compliance and operational safety, integrated reversed jet filter units manage ventilation and dust separation during the bulk truck loading process. Dense-phase conveying for efficient material transport * High-pressure vessels utilize an automatic valve system for fluidization. * Dense-phase technology ensures the

Digital Transformation of Grain Silo Inventory Management In the context of global food security and the rapid growth of smart agriculture, precise monitoring of grain levels and volumes in large-scale silos has become a strategic necessity.
Digital Transformation of Grain Silo Inventory Management
In the context of global food security and the rapid growth of smart agriculture, precise monitoring of grain levels and volumes in large-scale silos has become a strategic necessity. Traditional manual auditing in silos, which can stand dozens of meters high and hold thousands of tons, presents severe safety risks, including dust explosions, oxygen deprivation, and grain entrapment. The Challenge: Accuracy in High-Dust, High-Volume Storage Grain storage environments are characterized by high dust concentrations and fluctuating temperatures. For plant managers, the primary hurdles are twofold: - Safety Compliance: Eliminating the need for personnel to enter hazardous confined spaces. - Data Fidelity: Moving away from ”estimated” volumes toward a ”digital twin” that reflects the actual shape of the grain pile. The Solution: 3DPro2300 Radar Scanner To address these industrial bottlenecks, RETTAR introduced the 3DPro2300 Radar Scanner, a high-frequency sensing system designed to unlock the ”digital code” of smart grain storage. # 80GHz FMCW Technology for Dust Penetration; The 3DPro2300 utilizes 80GHz Frequency Modulated Continuous

Precision and Safety in Enzyme Production Dosing Poeth built a new, high-precision automated dosing system designed for ultra-low dust emissions and seamless ERP integration.
Precision and Safety in Enzyme Production Dosing
Poeth built a new, high-precision automated dosing system designed for ultra-low dust emissions and seamless ERP integration. To meet the rising global demand for natural ingredients, a leading biotechnology firm has scaled its production of enzyme blends for the flour and bakery sectors. This expansion centers on a new, high-precision automated dosing system designed for ultra-low dust emissions and seamless ERP integration. Overcoming Complex Engineering Challenges The project demanded a delicate balance between extreme precision and rigorous safety standards. Key technical requirements included achieving a dosing accuracy of ±5 grams while maintaining dust emissions below 0.6 mg/m³. Furthermore, the solution had to be retrofitted into a space-constrained facility, requiring a design that facilitated easy cleaning and integrated both bulk flour handling and liquid dosing into existing mixing processes. Advanced Dust Containment and Ergonomics To protect operators from airborne particulates, the system utilizes dust-controlled bag dumping stations featuring laminar airflow. This

PAYPER strengthens leadership with bottom-up system at Interpack
PAYPER will showcase its powder bagging solution and host a technical webinar ahead of the fair to present its applications and advantages. At the upcoming Interpack trade show (May 7–13, Düsseldorf), PAYPER will showcase its bottom-up filling system at its booth (Hall 12 – C06), a solution specifically designed to optimize the bagging of fine powdered products. The technology, which has already been introduced in specialized technical forums, expands the company’s portfolio of dosing solutions and addresses one of the most common challenges in industrial bagging: dust generation and the unstable behavior of certain products during filling. A common challenge in bagging powdered products In bagging processes involving products with very fine particle sizes, it is common for air entrapment and dust generation to occur during bag filling. These situations can lead to the dispersion of airborne particles, increased vacuuming requirements, or product loss. The bottom-up filling approach modifies traditional filling dynamics to reduce the product drop height during the dosing process. This principle

Vortex boosts durability in large-scale soybean handling
Vortex Global has delivered a custom-engineered solution for a major grain processor, addressing abrasion, uptime and maintenance challenges in continuous, high-capacity soybean handling operations. Engineering for abrasion in soybean processing Large-scale soybean handling exposes equipment to constant wear from seed and meal flowing at high volumes. Although individual particles are small, cumulative impact and friction at transfer points can rapidly degrade conventional components, driving downtime and maintenance costs. Vortex Global was engaged to design a gravity-flow solution capable of sustaining long-term operation in a demanding agricultural environment. The objective was to protect critical infrastructure while supporting the throughput required by modern soybean processing lines. Custom heavy-duty diverters for high throughput The project centered on the installation of two pivoting chute diverters engineered specifically for this application. With a nominal size of 1000 mm, the units were designed to manage large material volumes while maintaining structural rigidity and precise flow control. Key design priorities included long service life,
