Blowpipe Fast and Reliable Fastening for Bag Filters Now, bag filter maintenance is easier and faster by using MikroPul’s patented MikroFix® blowpipe fastening system. The GRAF company based at Teningen has recently commissioned a coextrusion blow-moulding machine manufacturing products for rainwater use with a volume of up to 3000 l. The Graf company has a large product range all about water management and is the greatest German manufacturer of rainwater containers. The multilayer containers are produced in one single production step and side products of each finished part are tops and tails with a unit weight of more than 20 kg, the weight of the purgings can be many times higher. A Herbold granulator of the SMS series recycles these tops and tails, still warm, next to the line where they are produced. For the transport of raw limestone, AUMUND Fördertechnik of Rheinberg supplies five LOUISE troughed chain conveyors with a conveying capacity of 270 t/h to the Herrlingen plant of Märker Kalk GmbH. The troughed chain conveyors from AUMUND are used in the new limestone screening operation. Three conveyors will distribute the material (low-burnt material and kiln cakings) to the corresponding silos. Another two are destined for the discharge from the silos. The set of machines to be supplied is complemented by three chain bucket elevators with center distances in the range of 13.5 to 43 m and conveying capacities of 50 to 350 t/h. Patented wear protection improves economic efficiency Master-PROTECT tube bends not only feature a PU lining but have a special, patented internal geometry. The lining acts as a protection to the actual tube wall and prevents early wear. The most distinctive feature, however, is the reinforced lining at the very point of the bend that is subject to the greatest mechanical loads. The inclined PU portion provides a relatively smooth material flow around the bend, ensuring particles hit the lining instead of damaging the tube wall. The risk of clogging is reduced since clogging does not occur at the narrowest point of the bend but at the slowest flow rate. The new design ensures improved material flow and reduced pressure drop. At the same time, material build-up and caking is decreased since the tube bend has no offsets or edges upon which material could accumulate. Thanks to the Windows extension »RealTime Suite« by Kithara Software there is a real-time solution for CAN.
