Two MEGATEX XD™ machines for a Pakistan fertilizer company End 2008, Rotex Europe has signed with Tenova Takraf Italy a contract for two machines MEGATEX XD™. The new urea plant these two machines are dedicated to will be the largest single train ammonia-urea complex in the world. The new Maxi - FlowSlide measures the flow of grain and powder material via the centripetal force. This method make the measurement independent from density and grain size. A special test stand was constructed to confirm the flow capacity and the accuracy. The construction consists of 2 silos. A screw conveyor feeds the test material from the lower silo into the upper vessel. The vessel is resting on 4 each OIML approved `Clevermount` load cells.
