Fastest results through perfect harmony between man and machine: C.E.Schneckenflügel takes the next step into the digitalised future with A+B Solutions. Recently, we proved that the perfect combination of man and machine can work wonders. For a client in urgent need, we were able to process an order at supersonic speed: From ”on hold” to ”activated” to ”produced and ready to ship” status took just 48 hours for this massive order of 8.7 tonnes of auger flights. Express delivery This lightning-fast express delivery was made possible by the energetic crew at press 3, which optionally produces high-quality auger blades in three shifts around the clock and rolled up its sleeves with a lot of heart and commitment for this order. But other factors were also involved in the achievement. Last but not least, the impressive storage capacity of the Edewecht plant contributes to the fastest response times.Existing material reserves of up to 400 tonnes of steel can be processed directly without waiting for external deliveries. Automation and digitalisation However, the decisive factor with regard to maximum efficiency

The importance of custom manufacturing in solids handling
The handling of bulk solids, especially aggregates and other hard minerals requires highly robust and reliable conveyor equipment. Sinfimasa designs equipment based on product properties. Robust equipment The handling of bulk solids, especially aggregates and other hard minerals requires highly robust and reliable conveyor equipment. Its 100% tailor-made manufacturing is the most recommended in this sector to offer to the engineering companies the most suitable components and features for the user’s working conditions and ensure maximum performance and return on investment. Maximum reliability Total adaptation to customer needs means, not only maximum reliability conveyors to reduce facilities downtime, but also the maintenance costs by assembling top quality brands preferred by the user which are freely accessible in the market, as is the case of motor-reducers, bearings, or instrumentation (motion, temperature, deviations sensors). Proven technology Having proven experience and references, as well as a test bench for testing the behavior of the client’s material, will help the success in the design of the conveyor to be manufactured. How to increase capacity of an inclined screw conveyor
When the axis of a screw conveyor is inclined, the capacity falls off progressively. Changing the arrangement of the casing can help. The capacity of a screw conveyor falls off progressively as the axis of the casing is inclined. This is mainly because the dynamic repose slope surface of the material is unchanged and is limited by material carrying over the centre shaft by its rotation to fall back into the prior pitch space so the inclination of the screw flight cuts off an underside section of the material in transit. There is also a small degree of back leakage from the upper region, where the radius of the screw separates from the vertical wall of the casing above the centre shaft level. This effect increases with inclination as gravity supplements the force of the friction of the casing wall restraining the contact layer of the material. Moreover, when the axis of the conveyor is inclined, not only is the geometry of the screw affected, but the sliding angle of material on the flight surface is reduced. The inner region of a screw flight face has a much coarser inclination than at the tip

Ardo uses special trough conveyors to retain taste and heat of its fresh re
‘We preserve nature’s precious gifts’ has been the slogan adopted by ARDO B.V. for more than forty years. The Zundert-based company is Europe’s largest frozen fruit and vegetable producer. Van Beek has supplied Ardo with a closed system of three trough conveyors, and in doing so has helped ensure that the red cabbage retains its taste, colour and shape while it is processed into a frozen vegetable product. With special facilities – such as CIP lines, flat-body ball valves and bead-blasted finishes – the red cabbage can be hygienically conveyed, while ensuring optimum cleanability of the screw conveyors. Paul Wortel, Manager Investments at Ardo BV in Zundert explains why the company opted for screw conveyors from Van Beek: “The advantage of these trough conveyors is that they have lids, so they form a closed system. This means that moisture and juice is retained, which also helps retain taste and heat. If we used an ordinary conveyor belt, we would lose

Vertical screw conveyor with capacity 25 T/h
Vertical screw conveyor with capacity 25 T/h
For vertical transport of humid, sticky and hot product a vertical screw conveyor is a good option. This vertical screw conveyor works on centrifugal force combined with the conveying of the screw. By this high speed execution the screw will be emptied, minimal product will be left in de screw conveyor. Alternative is low speed whereby the product by repression vertical is transported. Product is fed by a horizontal screw conveyor. The lift height of this conveyor is 5,5 mtr This conveyor is executed in stainless steel 1.4301 en executed with exhausting hood for release of vapour. JAVO Procestechniek builds on specification.

Hygienic screw conveyance for production of Cheddar cheese

an Beek has delivered a screw conveyor with an extremely high hygienic finish level to Tetra Pak Tebel B.V. from Heerenveen. This trough conveyor is used in the production of Cheddar cheese in Northern Ireland. The Van Beek screw conveyor is used as a component of the Tetra Tebel Alfomatic machine for transporting salted curds. The Van Beek stainless steel booster conveyor transports the salted curds with a capacity of 8500 kilogram per hour. The advantage of a screw conveyor compared for example with a conveyor belt is that during transport (6.5 metre long) the curds are also mixed with the salt at the same time. The complete design and very high finish level of this screw conveyor is according to the Van Beek Hypreme concept. This concept has been developed for applications that require a very high finish level. By grinding the stainless steel plate work and the welds very finely and then also water jetting it is given a very smooth surface which reduces the
