A high frequency probe, centrally mounted in a measuring pipe, measures the relative permittivity and temperature of the bulk material passing the probe. These values are continuously processed by the evaluation unit in order to determine the moisture contents of the material; this is then displayed digitally. Density measuring system If the density of the material is subject to strong fluctuations, an optional density measuring system can be supplied in order to compensate for this. Progressing with the Times Lindor has been selling specialty mixers and processing machines for over 30 years, conducting countless FATs along the way. Clients can make any changes necessary while their machine is still at the Lindor factory. The WEMO in-line Kempink durability (PDI) tester meets todays automated sampling process requirements. Pre-sieving, proportion, testing and weighing of the fractions starts as soon as the sample is fed into the tester. The WEMO in-line Kempink durability (PDI) tester meets todays automated sampling process requirements. Pre-sieving, proportion, testing and weighing of the fractions, starts as soon as the factory automation has led the sample to the tester. After the test cycle, the PLC communicates the data with corresponding references back to the MES system. Each batch can thus be tested, for an ascertained quality system. For a reliable, accurate measurement of the durability (PDI), fines from the process are separated in the rotating sieve on top of the tester. Each test thus begins with a clean sample of only pellets. After the sieve, a sample is measured in a compartment for an optimal test volume (approx. 200 cc). Transparent side panels visualize the process and state of maintenance. The service door gives access for periodic cleaning. Successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with Symrise
In addition to bulk solids plants, GREIF-VELOX also supplies full-line systems for liquid filling. Two semi-automatic R-DOS filling lines with a filling capacity of up to 50 drums per hour were accepted by Symrise at GREIF-VELOX in Lübeck. Drums on pallets and IBCs can be filled flexibly. Symrise will use the system to fill chemical products from the “Aroma Molecules” division at its plant in Granada (Spain) in future. The bottled flavors provide the basis for giving a variety of products such as shampoos, detergents, candles, etc. the right smell.
