For the vertical transportation of different solids The RHEWUM vibrating spiral conveyor type SC is suitable for the transportation of bulk solids from different production processes. Multi useable weigh feeder Jesma has developed the JesBelt Mini to a higher level in cooperation with some customers. The enclosed weigh feeder is now avalaible with (automatical) layer control system, stainless steel version and FDA approved belt.

Conveying a fragile product in a lean/dilute phase Pneumatically conveying open water fish feed is never an easy task. Product breakage must remain minimal to ensure the feed floats or sinks at specific rates. There is also an added complexity of highly variable fatty oil content, ingredients, and bulk density amongst the different blends. In 2008, Vortex collaborated with an international aqua feed manufacturer to develop a slide gate that would deliver fish feed pellets directly into a lean/dilute phase pneumatic conveying line. The success of the original slide gate design led to further cooperation on an additional aqua feed project in 2012. MOLOSmembran level indicator from MOLLET used as material jam detector Bulk solids are transported in many processing facilities with conveying belts, Redler conveyors and screw conveyors. In this process, it is of high importance, that material jams are immediately detected and removed before bigger problems occur. In order to achieve this more and more sensors are used for material jam detection. The maintenance free MOLOSmembran level indicators can be used perfectly for this application and are installed mainly in the discharge area of screw conveyors or Redler conveyors. As soon as a material jam occur, the accumulated backlog of the bulk solids presses on the membrane of the MOLOSmembran jam detector, activates a switch through a push rod and switches of the conveying process immediately. A big advantage of these robust and very reliable measuring devices is, that they need no electrical energy.
