Another part of a major customer project in the logistics sector has been successfully completed with our palletizing solutions and the delivery and commissioning is in full swing. Our dedicated SSB team has worked tirelessly to meet the requirements and ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest quality. This week we have reached the next exciting step, two heavily loaded trucks with our palletizing robots have started their journey to the customer. Carefully packed and secured, the products and materials have reached their destinations, where they are now set up and put into operation. The SSB team continues to support the customer as a matter of course and in the long term. The delivery is part of the result of effective cooperation and the use of state-of-the-art technologies in this project.

We set up and simulated a test with our granulate thrower in our halls for a customer from the USA. In the USA there are other vehicle lengths and container dimensions to consider. Extra-long freight containers in 53-foot dimensions are widespread in the USA and Canada and offer considerably more space than the 20, 30, 40-foot sea containers standardised in Germany, which can also be filled here without any problems and are suitable for European terminals and transhipment stations. We set up and simulated a test with our granulate thrower in our halls for a customer from the USA. The 53′ container posed a challenge.The aim is to fill a 53′ container evenly with granulate. The inliner has a total length of 16.2 metres and is to be inflated and then filled very quickly by our GWS 2000 granulate thrower. However, the known throwing distances are below the new targets. The tests in our company are to determine how realistically the new requirements can be implemented. The BIG-BAG light is the simple application for BIG BAG and octabin filling. Automatic calibratable filling, manual attachment of the container, manual container removal. Optional: Inflator, automatic load hooks, Vibrating device, Packaging material: Big-Bags, octabin, depend on the design. Capacity: up to 12 bags or packs/hour, depending on the packaging material and the skill of operator. Weighing range: 250-1,500 kg. Bulk bags are the ideal solution for the transport and storage of most bulk materials, such as chemicals, plastic granules, fertilizers, seeds, building materials and foodstuffs. SSB offers a wide range of filling stations for all types of big bags or octabins in the range of 500-2,000 kg. The proposed filling systems can have different configurations depending on the type of product, the type of big bag or octabin to be used and the required capacity. According to the selected option, the big bag can be used with or without a pallet, and two big bags can be stacked on top of each other. This filling system is designed for an average bagging capacity of up to 50 big bags/hour depending on product characteristics.
