As a producer of over five million plastic garden furniture sets per year, Jardin processes countless plastic granules on an annual basis. For over 14 years, these plastic granules have been stored in big bags. The big bags are stacked with the help of 250 INDUS NEVA systems: a construction specially designed for carrying big bags. Processing millions of seeds per day: the Neva system from Indus Integrated Bulk Logistics has played an important role in the transport and packaging of seeds at Enza Zaden for six years now. Enza Zaden: a well-known name in the world of seed breeding. Every year, the company from Enkhuizen introduces many new vegetable varieties to the world market. These varieties are developed from the Netherlands to Australia: Enza Zaden is active worldwide on almost every continent. The seeds, including many different lettuce varieties, are produced and sold in the higher segment worldwide. The Neva system from Indus Integrated Bulk Logistics has played an important role in the transport and packaging of these lettuce seeds at Enza Zaden for six years now. We grow the seeds in different climate zones, fruit crops such as peppers, cucumbers, pumpkins and tomatoes in greenhouses and other vegetable crops in fields. The innovative Neva big bag handling system at Duyvis (PepsiCo) means efficient work preparation, saving space, increased food safety and a clean product line. The use of the innovative Neva big bag handling system in the factory of Borrelnootjes® manufacturer Duyvis Production, part of PepsiCo, guarantees more than efficient work preparation. Using big bags ensures space saving and increased food safety when compared to metal flow bins. "The cleaning process of metal flow bins is no longer necessary because we now work with new and clean big bags." To conduct a first trial, 25 Nevas were ordered from Indus Bulk Logistics; today more than sixty Nevas can be found in the Duvyis factory. The Nevas are transported with a forklift or a pump truck. "This allows us to use big bags on several production lines, with many benefits as a result." Nuts in all shapes and sizes, stored in big bags, can be seen while walking through the factory in Zaandam. Each nut is different and follows its own course to, eventually, end up in the supermarket.
