Modular protection concept for every industrial task
For over 50 years, Fagus-GreCon has been developing solutions for preventative fire protection. More than 75,000 individually planned protection concepts and over 200,000 secured production areas worldwide demonstrate the company’s experience and technical depth. With the GreCon PROTECTOR, the company continues this path—as an intelligent, networked system that flexibly adapts to complex production processes and stops initial ignition sources before they lead to fires.
Four central functional areas
The GreCon PROTECTOR unites four central functional areas in one system:
- SCOUT for the precise detection of sparks, smoldering embers, or over-temperatures,
- HUNTER for automated and targeted extinguishing,
- RANGER for fast decentralized signal processing on site, and
- MISSION CONTROL as the central control unit.
This modular architecture allows for a perfect fit integration into various plants and processes—from crushing and conveying to drying, storage, and dedusting.
Preventative fire protection is crucial in many industries to avoid downtimes, consequential damages, and production interruptions.
Reacting in milliseconds
The systems from Fagus-GreCon intervene in milliseconds, significantly reducing the risk of fires or explosions.
”With the GreCon PROTECTOR, we are presenting our next-generation protection concept, which can be flexibly adapted to different production environments. The combination of detection, control, and reaction ensures that sources of danger are immediately recognized and neutralized,” explains Mario Haas, Managing Director at Fagus-GreCon.
