PowTech TechnoPharm (Nuremberg, 23-25 September 2025) is the international trade fair for process engineering experts and a tailor-made technology platform for the pharmaceutical and life science industries. Three days full of inspiration, innovation and interaction at PowTech TechnoPharm and FachPack. For the duration, the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg became a city of 72,000 people united by a single mission: to drive forward their companies, ideas and industries and lead them into the future. Once again this year the exhibition offered a special highlight: ParTec, the renowned international scientific congress, with about 500 participants and high-calibre lectures on particle technology. From 23 to 25 September 2025, Nuremberg will once again become the hub for international processing technology, when Powtech Technopharm 2025 delivers its most diverse programme ever. Powtech Technopharm 2025 has plenty of new features in store. Apart from the addition of Technopharm to the trade fair name, there are also new meeting points such as the Pharma in Focus Pavilion or the Women4processing network. We are also welcoming new partners such as ZLV (Centre for Food and Packaging Technology), BDI (Federation of German Industries), VEA (Association of German Energy Consumers), and IND EX (Intercontinental Association of Experts for Industrial Explosion Protection) alongside our established partners. From 23 to 25 September 2025, Nuremberg will again become the hub where everything revolves around technologies for processing powders, solids and liquids. In just over six months from now, Powtech Technopharm will relaunch following its scheduled break. Visitors can already look forward to their old favourites as well as some new ideas and concepts. Participants will also benefit from the co-location with FachPack, the European Trade Fair for Packaging, Technology and Processes. ParTec, the prestigious international scientific congress, will be held alongside Powtech Technopharm again in 2025. The Powtech Technopharm team is busy with the preparations. The trade fair looks set to be a successful event, with around 600 exhibitors expected in Nuremberg in September. Around 80 percent of the exhibition space has already been booked. “The current floor plans are available online. Not only has the brand been revamped, the concept has also undergone adjustments. With the new subtitle “International Exhibition for Process Operations”, Powtech Technopharm is preparing to be the meeting place for a multi-sector community in 2025. Starting in 2025, the former Powtech will operate under the name Powtech Technopharm, and with this new refinement it will provide the perfect platform for the growing pharmaceutical and life sciences industry in particular. “Powtech, as the core of mechanical processing technology for powders, granulates and bulk solids, will of course remain,” explains Heike Slotta, Executive Director Exhibitions. “This core will be expanded to include Technopharm and pharmaceutical process technology for solids and liquids. Happy visitors to Nuremberg: POWTECH and PARTEC hotspot for international experts in process engineering and the elite in particle technology research. More than 9,500 trade visitors travelled to POWTECH from locations in Germany and abroad again this year, with international visitors making up about 40 percent of the total. In four exhibition halls, 553 exhibitors from 27 countries (43 percent international) presented the latest solutions in process engineering and analysis for bulk solids, powder and liquid processing. As part of the top-level supporting programme, speakers gave 55 presentations in which they discussed current challenges and specific solutions for the industry with the trade visitors. A particular highlight was the PARTEC Scientific Congress, with an impressive 509 participants and top-level lectures on the current state of particle technology. The new Chair is Dr Lutz Mädler, of the Leibniz Institute for Materials Engineering in Bremen, who succeeds Dr Arno Kwade of Braunschweig University of Technology.
