PowTech 2013 expects stable level of activity

Last event`s exhibition space almost rented

There can be no question of a bad mood, says Claus Rättich, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse, commenting on the impacts of the present economic situation on the coming PowTech.
“Although economic prospects have become distinctly strained, we still expect the number of exhibitors and visitors at PowTech to remain stable.” Process engineers from all over the world will meet again at PowTech in Nuremberg from April 23-25, 2013 to discuss technological innovations in size reduction, dosing, mixing, screening, and granulation of powders and bulk solids.

At the upcoming PowTech , 95 percent of the exhibition space has already been rented. More than 700 exhibitors will present products and services from the segments of mechanical processing technologies and instrumentation in the five PowTech halls. They are augmented by about 300 exhibitors at TechnoPharm, who will display the latest developments in process technologies, cleanrooms, and packaging for the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industries.

The exhibitions are enhanced by an extensive supporting program, with topics ranging from explosion protection and “easy-to-clean” solutions to cleanrooms and sustainable packaging at TechnoPharm. At the same time in the exhibition center Nuremberg: ParTec 2013, one of the largest international conferences devoted to all aspects of particle and powder technology.

The organizers have produced a new film that brings the diversity and dynamics of PowTech 2013 to life.
