724 exhibitors from 27 countries invited the powder and bulk industry to the POWTECH trade show in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center – and 16,805 trade visitors from 83 countries came to see the world’s leading trade show for mechanical processing and the parallel show TechnoPharm. The high quality of talks was praised, as was the strong international involvement in the events. Every third exhibition visitor and every third exhibitor travelled to Nuremberg from abroad.

“A stable number of exhibitors, a very good response from the visitors, and a large international showing demonstrates how important our trade shows are for the international powder and bulk solids processing industry,” says Willy Viethen, Director Exhibitions for the organizer NürnbergMesse. The trade show duo for process plant and equipment is a permanent feature for Europe’s chemical, pharmaceutical, food and building material industries. The leading exhibiting nations after Germany were Italy, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria and the USA.

The next POWTECH takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 30 September to 2 October 2014.
