Especially when handling aggressive media, high temperatures or high-purity applications, conventional stainless steels often reach their limits. For these demanding environments, BOLZ INTEC develops customized Hastelloy drums and vessels and equipment solutions.

Hastelloy is one of the most high-performance nickel-based alloys used in industrial drums and vessel construction. Due to the specific combination of nickel, chromium and molybdenum, these materials offer outstanding resistance to chloride-containing media, oxidizing and reducing acids, as well as pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking. Even under high thermal loads, Hastelloy vessels maintain their structural stability and ensure long-term process reliability.

In sensitive production environments, material selection plays a decisive role. Even minimal corrosion can affect product quality or lead to unplanned downtime. Hastelloy drums or vessels help ensure stable, safe and economically efficient production processes over the long term.

In pharma production, internal liquid transfer is often seen as logistics, but it directly impacts process reliability, product quality, and reproducibility. In pharmaceutical production, internal liquid transfer is often still viewed as a purely logistical step. In reality, however, it has a direct impact on process reliability, product quality, and reproducibility. The CSTS (Closed Liquid TransferSystem) from Bolz Intec has been used in this context for years. It enables the closed transport of liquids between process stages such as reactors, filters, or dryers—without contact with the environment and without opening the system. Asymmetrical drum funnels
Asymmetrical drum funnels for controlled filling and emptying of drums and similar containers. Asymmetric funnels are used primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries and are designed for applications with high requirements for material resistance, hygiene, and process reliability. Manufactured from austenitic stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L). This material offers high corrosion resistance to aggressive media as well as good mechanical properties and is suitable for contact with sensitive products. The asymmetrical design supports targeted material flow and facilitates largely complete emptying, thereby reducing product residues and losses. To improve cleanability, the inner surfaces are treated using the Optimized Grind Finishing (OGF) process. The resulting surface roughness of Ra < 0.25 µm reduces particle adhesion and supports hygienic cleaning processes.
