Haver & Boecker to show AIR tech at Powtech Technopharm 2026
At Powtech Technopharm 2026, Haver & Boecker will showcase AI-guided robotics, camera technology, and sustainable filter systems. The group presents solutions for packaging, dedusting, and bulk storage.
AI and robotics for bag handling
At Powtech Technopharm 2026, Haver & Boecker Machinery Division will present solutions centered around Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (AIR). Highlights include the Amicus Smart Cell, an enclosed robotic system designed for automated empty bag feeding, transfer to the filling machine, and palletising of filled bags. Through its Bespoke service, the company assists customers in selecting bag specifications and custom designs. Additionally, Behn + Bates will showcase the Adams Care-Line Edition FFS machine for hygienic packaging of sensitive food powders and pharmaceuticals.
Camera technology for quality control
Using AI-assisted systems from the Quat2ro brand, the group demonstrates automated solutions to reduce operator workload and prevent errors. The Q Valve Check camera system inspects valve bags before filling to ensure correct opening and prevent product loss, while Q Seal Check rejects non-compliant bags before palletising. According to Managing Partner Florian Festge, intelligent digital systems enable manufacturers to increase efficiency and quality beyond conventional automation.
Sustainable filtration and repair concepts
In filtration technology, Haver & Boecker Wire Weaving Division presents a repair concept for Porostar wire mesh laminates. Instead of replacing damaged laminates entirely, individual components can be repaired to conserve materials and reduce costs. Furthermore, AML Anlagentechnik offers advice on dedusting filters and emission reduction for conveying and mixing plants.
Bulk handling solutions for conveying, mixing, and storage
Ibau Hamburg will highlight engineered solutions for bulk material storage, conveying, and mixing. Alongside silo technology and original components for the cement, minerals, and dry mortar sectors, the company focuses on plant modifications and retrofits to improve efficiency in existing operating plants.
