New Agent TBMA for the UK

TBMA is on the move and are very pleased to announce that AW Process Ltd will be their UK representative.

The appointment of a dedicated agent is a logical step to increase their presence in this market.

AW Process Ltd will be the representative in the United Kingdom for their rotary valves, diverter valves and samplers. Andy Woodford of AW Process has over 25 years of experience in the process industry working for and representing leading international manufacturers of solids handling equipment. Ed Wisse, Managing Director TBMA Europe: “Andy is very familiar with the UK food, pet food and cement/mineral industry, among others things, so to both of us this is a perfect match.”

TBMA has appointed Lochtec as their representative in Denmark. With this extension of their agent network they are increasing their presence in Northern Europe. Lochtec ApS has extensive experience in the process industry and already represents leading European manufacturers of processing equipment. The diverter valve SDTD-C contains a completely stainless steel body and plug making it suitable not only for diverting, but also for converging A major producer of polypropylene and polyethylene granules needed diverter valves for conveying 48 up to 80 tons/hr, depending on the conveying distance. They preferred to use the SDTD diverter, due to its compact design. However, at some locations the diverters also needed to be able to converge to allow a line change in the event of a production line failure. A bit like train tracks, where trains can change tracks in either direction. Compact diverter valve SDTD plug diverters are well known for their clever, value engineered design: the compact, single pipe design allows a large pipe diameter in relation to the size of the diverter. The standard SDTD version, however, is only suitable for diverting. It consists of an LM25 aluminium grade body and plug, lined with a 316 stainless steel tube, creating a rim at the inlet. TBMA Europe is a company with a lot of potential and I am looking forward to setting the course for the coming years. Ed Wisse has been appointed as successor to Bart Houben, current Managing Director and co-owner of TBMA Europe. With a background in mechanical engineering, proven track record in international sales, broad knowledge of the solids handling industry and extensive management experience, he has what it takes to lead TBMA Europe’s ongoing story. Bart Houben will stay in charge until the end of this year, allowing Ed Wisse to gradually work towards a takeover as Managing Director from 1 January 2024. From then on, Bart Houben will scale down his activities and focus on the sale of systems and projects. This way, he can also transfer of his decades of knowledge and experience to our account managers and project managers. Bechtel is a renowned name in the German bulk solids industry and supplies parts for elevators, chain conveyors and screw conveyors.
