LINDOR, is now fully established in the market as the originator of the unique ‘’Gentle Touch Mixing Technique’’.

The concept stands alone in that the design is entirely free of internal agitators. The outstandingly gentle but thorough mixing and blending effect is achieved by means of internally fixed, aerodynamically –shaped scoops. LINDOR mixers, because of their unique mixing principle, are especially suitable for processing the delicate granular products frequently found for instance in the food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

There is a range of available options:

  • liquid injection,
  • cryogenic mixing,
  • CIP systems,
  • fully automatic controls.

These mixers come in a range sizes , with volumetric capacities ranging from 10 to 25,000 litres.

New Specially-Designed Battery Powder Mixer from Lindor
A series of innovations in the powder blending machine design has led to the successful execution of the newest Lindor mixer, specially designed and optimized for battery powder processing. DORDRECHT, The Netherlands, 15 December 2022 — Lindor, manufacturer of specialized gentle touch mixers, sends out a new, state-of-the-art battery powder mixer for delivery to a client in Japan. The demand for battery powder is soaring. According to Statista, the size of the global lithium-ion battery market is projected to grow by over 72% by 2026, which puts pressure on battery manufacturers to scale production quickly. However, battery powder comes with a unique set of challenges for manufacturers- namely regarding the risk of metal ingress. Lindor has been engaged in battery powder mixing projects for well over 20 years. The unique gentle touch technology with which Lindor mixers operate is particularly well-suited for powders that are especially sensitive to metal contamination, as there are no moving parts within the mixing drum. To answer the demand from battery manufacturers to develop brand-new production plants or install additional processing

Lindor delivers highest quality Polymer Processing Solutions
Does a mixer immediately come to mind when you think about polymer processing equipment? If not, it certainly should. Mixing as the next step after the polymer extrusion process A post-extrusion polymer mixer achieves an even distribution of cross-linking agent across your polymer pellets in a temperature-controlled and hyper-clean environment. With a Lindor post-extrusion mixer, you achieve these results all while protecting the integrity of the particles as well. This special mixer has been designed to fit into your production line directly after your plastic extruder machine. Freshly extruded material enters the inlet of the mixer and then undergoes a treatment while being blended. The final product is a perfect polymer blend of pellets ready to be cross-linked in the next extrusion process with a level of quality appropriate for the manufacturing of products like heavy-duty wire insulation. Polymer blend compounding and processing features explained By enhancing our gentle touch rotary drum mixer with three important features, Lindor has developed a highly specialized and

Lindor innovates for even greater powder flow in mixing
Due to the extremely cohesive properties of very specific types of powders, a challenge can arise in getting these powders to flow. For over three decades, Lindor has been manufacturing industrial mixers and processing machines for powders, granulates and bulk solids. Among the large variety of applications our powder blenders have been built for, there are a few exceptional powders that tend to cause a fuss. Due to the extremely cohesive properties of very specific types of powders, a challenge can arise in getting these powders to flow from one section of a machine into the next. We like to refer to them as ’sticky powders’, and these exceptional powders include: # Battery powder # Fine minerals # Fine ceramics # Pigments After having experienced a challenge in the powder flow from the inlet to the drum of our mixer machine, we decided to come up with an innovative improvement for these very special powders. Tackling flowability challenge For almost all powders, a special coating like Teflon within Lindor powder mixers, along with the water blasting and mirror polishing, is

Lindor Exhibits Three Special Mixers at POWTECH, Stand 3-163
At the upcoming POWTECH fair, Lindor will be showcasing 3 special machines: a small laboratory mixer, the Gull Wing mixer and the Lindor Capsule© vacuum drying and coating machine Lindor at POWTECH in Hall 3 at Stand 3-163. Three Special Mixers on Display Each of the 3 mixers we will have on display at POWTECH 2022 have been designed with the gentle touch technology which Lindor has developed for mixing and processing fine powders, granulates and natural products. 1. L10 Lab Mixer The smallest mixer in our product range, the L10 laboratory mixer, can hold up to 10 liters of product and is equipped with a transparent drum so you can see exactly how particles flow while they are being mixed. This mixer is especially useful for small batch testing and R&D activities. 2. Gull Wing Mixer The Gull Wing mixer is a 1000-liter batch capacity mixer with hatches resembling luxury car doors or sea ”gull” wings. The double hatch feature was initially created for a client who sought an easier method for cleaning and has now become a standard option available for all the mixers on our product line. 3. Lindor Capsule© The Lindor Capsule©

Weishardt blends gelatin and collagen with XXL Lindor mixers
To date, Weishardt runs 3 Lindor L25000 mixers in 3 factory locations, with their latest order just installed in their newly opened production site. The first company to super-size their mixer and, in effect, extended the Lindor product range to the XXL L25000 in the 2004, was French gelatin pioneer: Weishardt. The concept was simple enough; they required a large capacity industrial blender the size of a tanker truck tank for the homogenous mixing of gelatin powder and granulate. The realization of the concept was, however, far from simple. Flash forward to today, their 3rd XXL Lindor mixer has just been installed in their newly opened plant in Graulhet, France where collagen is being blended. A bespoke solution in mixing technology Weishardt’s need for a 25,000-liter mixer drove the innovation which resulted in the Lindor L25000, the world’s largest powder mixer of its kind. At the time of the inquiry 18 years ago, the Lindor factory was not structurally capable of hoisting such a giant. A solid 20 tons of metal with a 12,5-ton rotating mass; it was even too heavy for the factory floors to bear.

Lindor machine mixes, coats and roasts dried fruit
The machine supplied by Lindor mixes, coats, dries and roasts, and all on a surface of only 4 by 4 metres. The final process is simple and efficient. When Lindor contacted a German trader and processor of exotic fruit, no one could have imagined that this would result in a unique mixer that combines all four processes in one mixer. The machine supplied by Lindor mixes, coats, dries and roasts, and all on a surface of only 4 by 4 metres. The customer is a progressive company, with a varied range of organic Fair Trade exotic fruit. “The company needed a more efficient way to produce the sweetened fruit flakes,” explains Michael Kaiser, Lindor’s Sales Manager Germany. “The caramelised flakes proved to be a popular product, but the caramelisation process was very labour-intensive and time-consuming. From mixer to versatile processing machine ”During the decades that we have been producing mixers, we have noticed that our mixers are a great platform for doing more than simply mixing. Before long, a customer asked us whether it would be possible to spray liquid onto the product during the mixing process.
