The Gericke Nibbler GNB calibrates particles and agglomerates The latest generation of Gericke GNB nibblers creates more value for users. The focus is on expanding process applications while reducing cleaning time and extending the service life of the nibbler screen.
The Gericke Nibbler GNB calibrates particles and agglomerates
The latest generation of Gericke GNB nibblers creates more value for users. The focus is on expanding process applications while reducing cleaning time and extending the service life of the nibbler screen. Gericke has long experience in grinding and calibrating agglomerates and bulk solids. The Gericke Nibbler GNB has been used successfully in the bulk solids industry for decades. It can deagglomerate dry, greasy or partially moisture containing products in an energy-efficient manner or to bring them to the desired target particle size. The latest generation of Gericke GNB nibblers creates more value for users. The focus is on expanding process applications while reducing cleaning time and extending the service life of the nibbler screen. The new features of the Gericke GNB offer various advantages. The target particle size can be easily adjusted by changing the shaker. This makes it possible to process a wide variety of products on the same granulator. It is now possible to set the optimum clearance between the beater unit to the screen insert for each screen and product without opening the machine. The metal contact monitoring system protects against incorrect

Gericke Unveils Advanced Double Shaft Reactor
for High-Performance Industrial Applications, capable of reaching temperatures up to 400°C. Gericke, a leader in industrial mixing technology, announces the introduction of its latest innovation: a double shaft reactor based on the GMS Double Shaft Mixer series, capable of reaching temperatures up to 400°C. This cutting-edge reactor is designed for a variety of high-performance industrial applications, including the impregnation of activated carbon used in high-performance filters. It showcases Gericke’s commitment to advancing industrial processing technology. The double shaft reactor is engineered to handle complex processes involving solids, liquids, and gas phases. The most intricate multi-step process, which includes several heating and cooling stages, spans approximately 24 hours. This duration underscores the necessity for gentle mixing, even for robust materials like carbon. While achieving 400°C in a stainless steel machine might seem straightforward, the true challenge lies in the details. One significant hurdle is managing the thermal

Automatic system for the addition of salt to sauce mixers Incorrect dosing does not occur and the risk of scalding when handling hot sauces in mixing containers is avoided.
Automatic system for the addition of salt to sauce mixers
Incorrect dosing does not occur and the risk of scalding when handling hot sauces in mixing containers is avoided. Adding small amounts of salt to a sauce intensifies the flavours of the different ingredients. However, it is important not to add too much salt. With an automatic feed system, the amount of salt can be controlled at all times. It also replaces manual handling. Incorrect dosing does not occur and the risk of scalding when handling hot sauces in mixing containers is avoided. A precision dosing device discharges the salt from a silo and adds the required batch quantity to a weighed vessel below. The vessel now serves as a conveying vessel for the pneumatic dense phase conveying system. With the proven Gericke PulseFlow PTA system, the salt is conveyed at low air velocities of typically 4 - 12 m/s through the pipework directly into the various liquid mixers with hot liquid. The respective liquid mixer can be selected with diverter valves and the required amount of salt can be added. The Gericke PulseFlow PTA conveying system not only maintains the particle size

Gericke RotaVal Rotary Valves up to 1200 mm inlet size Gericke RotaVal Rotary Valves up to 1200 mm inlet size
Gericke RotaVal Rotary Valves up to 1200 mm inlet size
Gericke RotaVal Rotary Valves up to 1200 mm inlet size Rotary valves are a proven equipment to discharge and convey bulk solids, to isolate pressure differentials or are used as flame barrier or explosion propagation isolation in ATEX zones. With more than fifty years of experience, the UK based Gericke RotaVal is a leading company for these products. As part of the Gericke group of companies, they can combine the expertise from a dedicated rotary valve manufacturer with the global experience from many successfully supplied powder processing and bulk handling installations. Rotary valves are found in many pneumatic conveying systems. They can also act as a safety device to isolate different process steps (airlock, flame barriers, explosion propagation valve). Another application is metering, for example when filling FIBCs. The design and manufacturing of rotary valves beyond the commonly used size ask for specific knowledge and large machining centers. Large rotary valves are used for large throughputs or for handling
