For a recent project in Poland, Sodimate and Equimo, official Polish distributor, were solicited to equip two complete lime milk preparation plants at Grupa Azoty S.A. in Tarnów as part of the modernization of the water treatment system prepared and implemented by ste AQUA SEEN Sp z o. o.
These plants were built for one of the main players in the Polish fertilizer market, and a key player in the European chemical industry. The company’s products are used in agriculture, as well as in the food, automotive and electrical engineering industries.
As a technical expert, Sodimate has supplied:
- 2 discharge and metering system of hydrated lime installed under 130m3 silos, ensuring continuous powder flow and dosing
- 2 injectors isolating screw feeder from moisture
- 2 preparation tanks of 3m3 and 10m3 for mixing and preparing lime milk slurry, essential for industrial water treatment
Lime milk preparation aims to correct water pH, precipitates heavy metals, treats acidic effluents and absorb acid gases. It is a key reagent for regulatory compliance in industrial discharges, contributing to environmental protection and water resource sustainability.
