Eliminate products loss & residue in horizontal mixers by switching from center bottom discharge valves to bomb bay door type discharge valves. Since 1954 PerMix has been leading the industry with our engineering, innovation, performance & quality. When we talk about product loss and residue, this is an issue everyone faces that is using a horizontal mixer. To minimize this PerMix already created a discharge valve that is offset at a 15* angle, which is as the center slope of the powder. This gives PerMix an advantage over others as we are the ONLY manufacturer offering this offset. The reason for this offset is because in a mixer, with the rotation of the agitation, the powders create a slope inside the mixer, if you were to stop the agitation you would see this. Where everyone else puts the valve in the center of the mixer, we put it in the center of the slope of the powder. The other thing PerMix does to eliminate this product loss & residue even more is to offer a bomb bay type door on ALL horizontal mixers. Recently a customer needed a solution for a very complex mixing problem. The mixing process created a need for a mixer that could handle the low temperatures of dry ice, while at the same time needed to load ingredients automatically in a low overhead area. For this we created a cover that slid off the mixer instead of being hinged. This also allowed for the flex tubing of the ingredient feeders to remain attached. PerMix Hybrid is a Paddle Mixer & Plow Mixer all-in-one powerhouse. It allows you to switch between a paddle mixer and plow mixer with ease. This allows for the ultimate in diversity. Hybrid Paddle Mixer / Dryer The PerMix Hybrid Paddle Mixer / Dryers have the same mixing principle as our Horizontal PaddleMixers & Paddle Mixer / Dryers but add the ability for the operator to change agitation type with ease, switching from paddle to plow, or even segmented ribbon. Working Principle The PerMix Paddle Mixers consist of one electrical motor, one reduction gear, coupling, and shaft with an agitation that has paddle liked shaped attachments that collide with ingredients causing a multi-directional response that mixes products quickly. The shaft is sealed with bush & PTFE gland housing at both ends, with other options available. Materials are loaded from top side, and the discharge is located at the bottom side in the center or end, depending on production needs, either batch type or continuous. The discharge height can be adjusted as per requirement so that material gets discharged into the container below it without floating dust.
