Recently, another problem with an air conditioner for the conditioning of a stainless steel control cabinet - installed in the production area of a food company - was solved.
Advanced saltwater testing has shown that condensers with an anti-corrosion coating last up to eight times longer than condensers without that coating. Such a rust-resistant layer is not a luxury, especially in an industrial environment where aggressive vapors are present. However, even then it is only a matter of time before malfunctions occur in an air conditioner.
The FIKTECH Vortex Coolers are equipped with a stainless steel vortex tube in which compressed air is converted into cooling air. With this you dissipate heat - given off by the electrical components - to the environment. Even dust and moisture are kept out of the housing. The compressed air is divided into two streams: cold and warm. The cold air flushes the warm air out of the control cabinet under a slight overpressure. The relevant – defective – Air Conditioner has since been replaced by a Vortex Control Cabinet Cooler.
