Magnetic filter removes iron from wheat flour
Incorporation into pneumatic transport lines Goudsmit Magnetic Systems B.V. from Waalre has developed a new magnetic filter which is going to be exposed on the Industrial Processing Exhibition in Utrecht, the Netherlands (Hall 9, Stand A106). This magnetic filter can be used in tubes or pipelines in the processing sector. It removes iron from raw materials that are transported under pressure, such as for example wheat flour. Pneumatic transport lines offer numerous possibilities with regard to incorporating other features. Such transport is often dozens of meters long. People often fear that the product will pass the magnet too quickly, so that the iron particles cannot be caught; but this is not the case here (see detailed photo). Even the very smallest iron particles remain stuck to the magnets, so they cannot be carried along with the stream of products.
