This year, the ”Regional Sales Meeting” with UWT Level Controls LLC of USA, held in July, was very inspiring. Therefore, amongst others, Managing Director of UWT GmbH Uwe Niekrawietz and Markus Schalk, Managing Partner UWT ISM GmbH, from Germany came together with the US-American team in Memphis.

In addition further sales representatives of several partner companies from the different regions of USA were invited to exchange their experience, discuss the temporary situation on the local and international markets for measurement technology and accordingly design new sales strategies.

The event was held under the main idea “Fit for Future“ with regard to the this year’s jubilee of 40 years UWT GmbH.

After looking back on the very positive development of the UWT subsidiary over the past two years, there have been considered particularly interesting applications from different industries and their successful solutions. New measurement sensors from the area of continuous and level limit control were discussed as well as new opportunities for the global markets. In particular, the innovative radar sensor NivoRadar® NR 3000 with its non-contact technology as well as the vibrating rod probe Mononivo® MN 4000 with its compact design and high process compatibility open up many doors in the field of measurement technology, especially within the US-American markets. The event was accompanied by an intensive product training from the basics to the sophisticated fine tuning of the point limit and continuous level measurement technologies.

Further the presentation of the common philosophy and values which UWT stands for around the globe generated a very positive atmosphere and the colleagues of Memphis gave 100% positive feedback. An active exchange of experience concerning application reports of the successful implementation of measurement technology in material manufacturing processes and different silo plants was accompanied by inspiring ideas.

Now the focus is on the implementation of new projects, especially through the product innovations. The engineering as well as the service for the US market have been already expanded by new employees. Additionally sales trainings and interactive product presentations will be held at the regional partner companies.

The entire UWT team is looking forward to a positive cooperation and a further successful future with new chances!
