This year, the ”Regional Sales Meeting” with UWT China was held in Shanghai Songjiang. Therefore Managing Director of UWT GmbH Uwe Niekrawietz and Markus Schalk, Managing Partner UWT ISM GmbH, as well as Area Sales Manager Guoyan Zhang-Mailänder from Germany came together with the team of UWT International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. on 10th March.

In addition another 43 sales representatives of 21 partner companies from the different regions of China were invited to exchange their experience, discuss the temporary situation on the Chinese markets for measurement technology and accordingly design new sales strategies.

The event was held under the main idea “Fit for Future“ with regard to the this year’s jubilee of 40 years UWT GmbH. It was very professionally prepared and organized by Wei Gao, General Manager of the UWT International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and his motivated team.

After looking back on the very positive development of the UWT subsidiary in China over the past two years, we have explored particularly interesting applications from different industries and their successful solutions. New measurement sensors from the area of content and level limit control were discussed as well as new opportunities for the global markets. In particular, the innovative radar sensor NivoRadar® NR 3000 with its non-contact technology as well as the vibrating rod probe Mononivo® MN 4000 with its compact design and high process compatibility open up many doors in the field of measurement technology.

Further the presentation of the common philosophy and values which UWT stands for in China and all around the globe generated a very positive atmosphere and our colleagues in Shanghai gave 100% positive feedback. We are meeting several partners over a period of many years, which enables us to build a sustainable and valuable sales network in China. This supported an active exchange of experience concerning application reports of the successful implementation of measurement technology in material manufacturing processes and different silo plants. One highlight at the Sales Meeting therefore was the awarding of the best agents for 2016.

Now our focus is on the implementation of new projects, especially through the launch of our product innovations. The engineering as well as the service for the Chinese market have been already expanded by new employees. Additionally sales trainings and interactive product presentations will be held at our regional partner companies.

The entire UWT team is looking forward to a positive cooperation in China and a further successful future with new chances!
