RHEWUM decided to combine three helpful technical functions for operators which are handling bulk materials together in a single App. The App can be downloaded and installed free of charge at the App Store. It supports you to maintain your screening machines. Needless to explain that the functions can be used in many other applications as well.


The RHEWUM ScreenCheck App consists of three parts:

1. RHEWUM VibFlash

2. RHEWUM VibSonic and

3. RHEWUM SizeChecker

The VibFlash uses the inbuilt photo flash of the Apple iPhone and generates light pulses at a predefined frequency. It allows you to investigate structural movements for any high frequency moving equipment at a frequency between 16 Hz and 60 Hz. At the same time you can also measure the rotation speed of any shaft as well.

The VibSonic App uses and calibrates the inbuilt microphone of the Apple iPhone. It measures the sound pressure of any equipment (not only screening machines) related to its frequencies. Out of this it generates and calculates and displays the results in db(A) at their frequency as well as an average value in a report which can be stored.

The SizeChecker App measures and calculates the grain size distribution of bulk materials by using the inbuilt camera. You just take a picture of the mono disperse layer of your material and the App will send you back the grain size distribution, the mean aperture (MA or x50) and many more information (they will be implemented soon).
