Masterflex AG continues international growth

New subsidiaries in Brazil and Russia

Masterflex AG is still on the road to success. In the third quarter of 2010, Masterflex AG again significantly improved its overall economic performance as against the previous year. With the foundation of a sales company in Brazil as well as the launch of a joint venture with the Russian partner ZAO SovPlym Masterflex expands the core business activities for high-tech hoses and connecting systems.

Masterflex intends to enter the Russian market for high-tech hoses and systems from the company’s head office in St. Petersburg and its seven sales offices throughout Russia. SovPlym has been active on the Russian market for more than 20 years and is a joint venture with the Swedish company PlymoVent AB, one of the leading manufacturers of suction, ventilation and filter systems.

The new subsidiary located in São Paulo will serve directly the South American market. Up to now the American subsidiary Masterduct Inc. (Houston, Texas) supplied those South American countries. "The date of this new foundation was just at right time" says Ole Stein, Division Manager for high-tech hose systems. "The market requires high-quality hoses and connecting systems. In Brazil massiv investments are noticeable".

The Gelsenkirchen-based Masterflex AG operates production and sales offices worldwide and masters once more its leadership role for high-tech hoses and connecting systems. Only last year Masterflex established a sales office in Sweden. So Masterflex demonstrates strong presence in many European, American and South American countries.

New activities and projects are scheduled for the upcoming year.
