Retrofit instead of a new station
When an existing big bag discharge station no longer meets the containment requirements, the complete installation does not always have to be replaced. Often the weak point is the interface between the big bag liner and the discharge equipment: dust release, product loss and operator exposure arise when the liner is connected and disconnected.
With the LAS-MC Manual Connect, HECHT upgrades this liner connection on suitable existing stations. Structure, lifting arrangement and discharge equipment can stay in place where this is technically appropriate.

- Containment up to OEB 4, supported by third-party certification and validation
- For designated PE and aluminium liners
- Product-contact surfaces in stainless steel 1.4404, Ra < 1.6 µm
- No O-rings in the specified configuration
- ATEX-configured version available, suitability to be confirmed for the installation and zone
Whether a retrofit fits depends on the powder, the liner, the available space and the required containment level. Hecht Technology B.V., the BeNeLux representative of the HECHT group, assesses this together with the plant operator.
