Growth and Relevance After Two Decades
The trade fairs Solids & Recycling-Technik Dortmund closed their doors on March 19 with a clear signal of strength. What began in 2006 with 110 exhibitors in Duisburg has developed into an industry event with nearly 370 companies in four exhibition halls. Despite a challenging economic environment, participants used the platform intensively for professional exchange and the initiation of new projects.
High Visitor Quality and Intense Technical Dialogues
A total of 5082 trade visitors informed themselves about technological innovations from the exhibiting companies and premium partners. Organizers and exhibitors alike emphasized the high quality of the discussions. The mix of technical expertise and direct dialogue was particularly valued, making the fair a fixed date in the annual planning of the bulk solids and process industry.

Focus on Knowledge Transfer and Practical Innovations
On five lecture stages, experts from industry and science delved into current industry trends. A special highlight was the live explosion demonstrations in the outdoor area, which clearly illustrated potential hazards for plant operations. In parallel, the Start-up Area offered ten young companies space for new impulses, with Optocycle GmbH being honored with the Start-up Award.
Networking and Outlook for the Next Event
An exclusive supporting program with guest of honor Michael Rummenigge, as well as guided tours of selected innovations, rounded off the trade fair offerings. The next edition of the trade fair duo will take place as scheduled on December 1 and 2, 2027, in Dortmund, once again serving as a meeting point for practical solutions and technical progress.
