Expertise in Handling, Processing, and Recycling
The trade fair duo SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund combines two days of comprehensive expertise in the processing, handling, and recycling of fine to coarse-grained materials and waste streams. Visitors receive practical solutions from industry experts and a high-caliber supporting program. With the new Process Automation exhibition area, the duo provides additional momentum for digitized, transparent, and energy-efficient production and recycling processes.
SOLIDS Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation
SOLIDS Dortmund, the trade fair for granule, powder, and bulk solids technologies, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026 under the motto ”Ideas that move. Solutions that stay.” Exhibiting companies showcase the entire spectrum of mechanical process engineering. Simultaneously, RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund presents machinery, plants, and components for reprocessing and environmentally friendly disposal for the 9th time. For visitors, this means short distances, direct comparison of solutions, and many personal technical discussions in a short time.
New for 2026: Process Automation Exhibition Area
A central highlight in 2026 is the new Process Automation area. Here, visitors gain a compact overview of current developments in automation technology and their benefits for efficiency, transparency, and sustainability. Exhibits include data integration and analysis, cloud-based solutions, remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, HMIs, MES, as well as sensor technology and control systems.
Knowledge Hub: Lectures, Forums, and Live Demos
A practical program of lectures and discussions runs on both days. At SOLIDS Dortmund, the InnovationCenter, ImpulsCenter, and SolutionCenter offer technical contributions on research, trends, cyber security, process optimization, sustainability, AI, corporate succession, and more.
Focusing on Circular Economy and Resource Management
At RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund, further formats complement the program, including lectures on PPWR, textile, PV, and battery recycling, as well as digitalization and standards. Building material recycling is also a central theme. ”With the lecture panel at SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund, we want to discuss current challenges and solutions in building material recycling. It must be organized as an industrial raw material economy. Standardized material classification, digital traceability, quality-assured processing, and certification are prerequisites for secondary raw materials to reach primary quality and be used reliably,” explains Thomas Fischer, Managing Director of QUBA GmbH.
